[Verse 1]
You asked me what I want
That's different from what I need
Let me tell you, baby, it's such a simple thing
All I really want is someone to understand
My rollercoaster up's and down's, only put their arms around
Could you be that man? (Could you be that man?)

[Chorus]
Someone to live for me, someone to fight for me
Someone to laugh with me, cry with me, baby, die for me
Catch me when I fall
Someone to love me, love me, love me
That's all

[Verse 2]
Can't meet you halfway, can't love you just a little
It's all or nothing, baby
There's no me [?]
All I really want is to see the truth down in your soul
Fireworks every single night
Stand by me, wrong or right
Be the half that makes me whole (Half that makes me whole)

[Chorus]
Someone to live for me, someone to fight for me
Someone to laugh with me, cry with me, baby, die for me
Catch me when I fall
Someone to love me, love me, love me
That's all

[Bridge]
Want someone to talk to me, someone to walk with me
Come on, baby, take my hand, you might be that man

[Chorus]
The one to live for me, the one to fight for me
Laugh with me, cry with me, even die for me
Catch me when I fall
Someone to love me, love me, love me
Someone to live for me, someone to fight for me
Someone to laugh with me, cry with me, even die for me
Catch me when I fall
Someone to love me, love me, love me
That's all
