Yah-di-yah-yah-yah
Yah-di-da-di-da-da-day
Yah-di-yah-yah-yah

Getting down, everybody
All the way
All the way down, now, now, uh-huh!
Getting down, everybody
All the way
All the way down, now, now, now, mmm!
Don't it make you feel good, everybody
To get down
All the way down, now, now, ooh!
(All the way, all the way, all the way down)
Don't it make you feel good, everybody
To get down
All the way down, now, now, mm-hmm
(All the way, all the way, all the way down)

Put one foot ahead of the other
Now join hands like sisters and brothers
Don't it make you feel good all other
Just to touch and get a little bit closer
Don't be afraid now, don't be ashamed, y'all
Everybody come on and claim the fame, now
What we're doing here, let everybody know
Don't hold nothing back, just let your feelings show

You getting down, everybody
All the way
All the way down, now, now, uh-huh!
Getting down, everybody
All the way
All the way down, now, now, now, listen
Don't it make you feel good, everybody
To get down
All the way down, now, now, mmm...
(All the way, all the way, all the way down)
Don't it make you feel good, everybody
To get down
All the way down, now
(All the way, all the way, all the way down)

It ain't nothing to talk to it
It's all in how you do it, yeah, yeah, yeah
It ain't nothing to talk to it, y'all, uh...
Ooh, it's all in how you do it, yeah, yeah, yeah
This is how it goes

Getting down, everybody
All the way
All the way down, now, now, uh-huh!
Don't it make you feel good, everybody
To get down
All the way down, now, now
(All the way, all the way, all the way down)

Everybody on the one, y'all
It's all about in having fun, yeah, yeah
Everybody on the one, y'all
It's all about in having fun, yeah

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah...

Commodores

Commodores are an American funk/soul band, which was at its peak in the late 1970s through the mid 1980s. The members of the group met as mostly freshmen at Tuskegee Institute (now Tuskegee University) in 1968, and signed with Motown in November 1972, having first caught the public eye opening for The Jackson 5 while on tour.
