Hey!
Are you ready?
To get down everybody tonight
You get so crazy, baby
You always were my soul's flashing flare
Because we're in the mysterious midnight
Everybody starts to rock with the boogie
I want to see what they're doing
I want to see what they're doing
What they're doing tonight
I wanna see you one day
I gotta see you one day
I wanna see you tonight
Give me that midnight
Give me that midnight
Give me that midnight, sugar
Give that midnight magic
Uh, uh

Give me the lights (lights)
Give me action (action)
Everybody's goin' to Hollywood
From the dreamer to the glamour
I wouldn't leave here if I could
Hey all our dancin' and singin'
We looking down to Boulevard
Get on up and dance to the music
We won't stop until
We try and get some others down
(Gonna tear it down)
(Gonna tear it down) yeah
(Gonna tear it down)
Just give me that midnight
(Midnight magic)
Give me that midnight, ooh
Give me that midnight, sugar
(Midnight magic)
Give me that midnight magic
Ooh, give me that midnight
(Midnight magic)
Ooh, give me that midnight magic, yeah
(Ooh)
Baby, give me that midnight magic
(Midnight magic)
Ooh, give me that midnight magic, yeah

Take on the dancin' and singin' yeah
Oh, looking down the Boulevard
Get on up and dance to the music
We won't stop until we try
And get some others down, yeah

Give me that midnight
Give me that magic, sugar
Give me that midnight
(Midnight magic)
Give me that midnight magic
(Let's go down to the disco, disco, disco)
(Let's go down to the disco, disco, disco)
(Let's go down to the disco, disco, disco)
(Let's go down to the disco, disco, disco, let's go)

Commodores

Commodores are an American funk/soul band, which was at its peak in the late 1970s through the mid 1980s. The members of the group met as mostly freshmen at Tuskegee Institute (now Tuskegee University) in 1968, and signed with Motown in November 1972, having first caught the public eye opening for The Jackson 5 while on tour.
