[Intro]
I like-I like- I like- I like love
I like-I like- I like- I like love (Lookin' for love)
I like-I like- I like- I like love
I like-I like- I like- I like love (Lookin' for love)
I like-I like- I like- I like love
I like-I like- I like- I like love (Lookin' for love)
I like-I like- I like- I like love

[Verse 1: Lead Vocal, Second Vocalist and together]
Where was I the day that love came back?
I must have missed my chance again
And I don't even know why
I promised I would get myself together
Never gonna see me cry
Next time we won't let love pass us by
(Lookin' for love, and we're gonna find it!)

[Verse 2: Lead Vocal, Second Vocalist]
All I need is someone warm and true
Someone I can call my own
And girl it might be you
Oh, I'm gonna search the world to find her
I'm a determined guy
(We're starting to search today)
(Lookin' for love, and we're gonna find it, Ah!)

[Chorus]
(Come here, girl)
(Look out, girl)
(We're comin' thru)
Ahh, I'm comin'!
I'm comin'!
(We're comin'!)
I'm lookin'!
I'm lookin'!
(We're lookin')
I'm searchin'!
(We're searchin')
(Lookin' for love, and we're gonna find it!)

[Verse 3: Lead Vocal, Second Vocalist]
If you shall, oh girl, I'm warnin' you
When I come thru your town again
I've got somethin' to do
Oh, I made a vow, and I ain't playin'
Girl, you've got my eye
(We're gonna give you everything)
(Lookin' for love and we're gonna find it, Ah!)

[Outro]
(Lookin' for love and we're gonna find it, Ah!)
(Lookin' for love and we're gonna find it, Ah!)
(Lala-la-la-la-la-la! Lala-la-la-la-la-la!)
(Uh-look a love!)
(Uh-look a love!)
(Lala-la-la-la-la-la! Lala-la-la-la-la-la!)
(Uh-look a love!)
(Uh-look a love!)
(Lookin' for love and we're gonna find it, Ah!)
(Lookin' for love and we're gonna find it, Ah!)
(Lala-la-la-la-la-la! Lala-la-la-la-la-la!)
(Uh-look a love!)
(Uh-look a love!)

Commodores

Commodores are an American funk/soul band, which was at its peak in the late 1970s through the mid 1980s. The members of the group met as mostly freshmen at Tuskegee Institute (now Tuskegee University) in 1968, and signed with Motown in November 1972, having first caught the public eye opening for The Jackson 5 while on tour.
