[Intro: All]
A fly love, uh, uh, say what?
A fly love, uh, uh, say what?
A fly love, uh, uh, say what?
A fly love, uh, uh, say what?
A fly love, uh, uh, say what?
A fly love, uh, uh, say what?

[Verse 1: Common]
I don't stress it baby
They say you got me dressing crazy
Eating veggies, wearing shirts extra medium
And if we break up, I'ma eat meat again?
I feel complete with you
Shit, I held up signs in the streets for you
In the street people ask about me and you
I tell them, "We go through what most people do"
Let's, let go of fear love
We can grow as long as my beard does
You push me in the way you supposed to
When you're the one I come close to you

[Hook: Erykah Badu & Pharrell, Common, Pharrell & Erykah Badu]
Come close to me
Come close baby, come close ma
Baby (baby)
Let me hold you love, come closer love (baby)
I know this world gets
It gets crazy baby, it gets crazy girl (crazy) (but)
What's it without you, you, you, you? Hey

[Verse 2: Pharrell Williams]
Uh, I know you used to watch me
Rock Gucci and Versace
But now I'm back to my skater roots
But still got friends in them gator boots
And what's up with them hater dudes?
Ma, hating is okay to you?
Why? Cause they driving them fancy cars?
Look, well I can ride you on my handle bars
On my BMX, baby
I'm creative with Tourette's baby
My testicles full with ecstasy
When I think about you naked, please

[Hook: Erykah Badu & Pharrell, Common, Pharrell & Erykah Badu]
Come close to me
Come close baby, come close ma
Baby (baby)
Let me hold you love, come closer love (baby)
I know this world gets
It gets crazy baby, it gets crazy girl (crazy) (but)
What's it without you, you, you, you? Hey

[Bridge: Erykah Badu]
I know what you're thinking, you're run my mind
You're right, you're right, you're right
You running so fast you just might take flight
Hope you're not tired, tonight, tonight

[Verse 3: Q-Tip]
I don't stress it girl
They say that you and I are from different worlds
You're from underneath the underground
And I understood my Hip-Hop run to this position
Mm, yeah, I don't stress it sweetie
You write in cursive, I write in graffiti
Opposites, not really, we just customize
For my turfs, hey, I'm instructing you to listen
I'm saying that a rat's ass I couldn't give
Even though you far away, in my heart you live
So bring your little sweet face closer to me
And look into my eyes, tell me what you see

[Hook: Erykah Badu & Pharrell, Common, Pharrell & Erykah Badu]
Come close to me
Come close baby, come close ma
Baby (baby)
Let me hold you love, come closer love (baby)
I know this world gets
It gets crazy baby, it gets crazy girl (crazy) (but)
What's it without you, you, you, you? Hey
Come close to me
Come close baby, come close ma
Baby (baby)
Let me hold you love, come closer love (baby)
I know this world gets
It gets crazy baby, it gets crazy girl (crazy) (but)
What's it without you, you, you, you? Hey

Common

Lonnie Rashid Lynn, Jr. (born March 13, 1972), better known by his stage name Common (previously Common Sense), is a Grammy and Oscar-winning rapper and actor from Chicago, Illinois. Common’s inspired mix of poetic flow and hip-hop soul has helped him earn his status as one of the most respected rappers in the game.

After being a ball boy for his hometown Chicago Bulls as a teen and attending Florida A&M University for business administration, Common Sense kicked in and he left school to become a rapper. He gained national attention after being featured in the Unsigned Hype column of The Source magazine in 1991. He released his debut album Can I Borrow a Dollar? through Relativity Records in 1992, followed by his breakthrough second album Resurrection in 1994, which features his hip-hop classic single “I Used To Love H.E.R.”

As his career began to take off, he was sued by the music group Common Sense over the name, leading Common to drop the “Sense” and allude to the change in the title of his third album, One Day It’ll All Make Sense (1997). He has released several critically acclaimed albums, including Like Water For Chocolate (2000), which features his J Dilla-produced hit single “The Light”, and Be (2005), which was released under fellow Chicago musician Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint. He also joined musicians Karriem Riggins and Robert Glasper to form the group August Greene, and the trio released their self-titled album in 2018.
