[Verse 1]
So here we are back to Monday
And the King's been overthrown
You weren't alone
You're pulling up off the runway
Find the time to get back home
To something known

[Pre-Chorus]
But still you find some peace of mind in the simpler things
You count the stars and the passing cars
As the wind hits the wings

[Chorus]
Faded blue (blue)
Faded blue (blue)
Faded blue (blue)
Blue, yeah

[Verse 2]
You never cared much for Sundays
When you pray to silent ghosts
To leave your post
Your officers line the runway
A thousand miles beyond the coast
The crisp, white coasts

[Pre-Chorus]
But still you find some peace of mind in the simpler things
You count the stars and the bright red bars
As the waves down there sing
From the sea

[Chorus]
Faded blue (blue)
Faded blue (blue)
Faded blue (blue)
Blue, yeah

[Bridge]
Oh no, no, no, no, no
Don't you be torn within
You were born to win
You must believe
The future's warm again
The tide is coming in

[Chorus]
Faded blue (blue)
Faded blue (blue)
Faded blue (blue)
Blue, yeah
Faded blue (blue)
Faded blue (blue)
Faded blue (blue)
Blue, yeah
Faded blue (blue)
Faded blue (blue)
Faded blue (blue)
Blue, yeah

Back in October, Tyler The Creator directed a music video for a song called Glowing. While the song earned acclaim, its mastermind has remained anonymous, a mysterious and masked artist… that is, until now. D.A., a singer-songwriter from LA was first discovered by Kanye West and Pharrell Williams while still studying at Harvard. D.A. previously fronted the indie-pop band Chester French, but now is working to carve out his own solo career via Capitol imprint, Harvest Records.
