Friday night, work is done, weekend
9 PM and I'm ready for fun to begin
All dolled up, I'm dressed to kill
I've got some change in my purse and a \$10 bill
Pay five bucks at the door
It's time to hit the floor
And I can hardly wait
This is my planned escape, oh-oh-oh

Can't stop the band from playing
Can't stop my head from swaying
I feel my feet obeying
I feel the night
I see the party lights
Can't stop the DJ's rapping
Can't stop my hands from clapping
I feel my heart reacting
I feel the night
I see the party lights

Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh

Saturday sure feels great to sleep late
Call the girls, let's hook up for a lunch date
Housework's over, laundry's clean
I put a five-minute press on my favorite jeans
Jump in the car, beware
Excitement's in the air
All my friends will meet me there
When we dance, we lose our cares, oh-oh-oh

Can't stop the band from playing
Can't stop my head from swaying
I feel my feet obeying
I feel the night
I see the party lights
Can't stop the DJ's rapping
Can't stop my hands from clapping
I feel my heart reacting
I feel the night
I see the party lights

Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
Ooh-ooh-ooh...
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
Mm-hmm

Oh-oh-oh...

Can't stop the band from playing
Can't stop my head from swaying
I feel my feet obeying
I feel the night
I see the party lights
Can't stop the DJ's rapping
Can't stop my hands from clapping
I feel my heart reacting
I feel the night
I see the party lights

Can't stop, no, no, no, no
Can't stop, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
I feel my heart reacting
I feel the night
I see the party lights
Can't stop the DJ's rapping
Can't stop my hands from clapping
I feel my heart reacting
I feel the night
I see the party lights
