Tell me, my love
Gently, my love
I hear that you're leaving and ending our love
Even though it breaks my heart
Breaking up is just a part of love, of love

Reminiscing over lost dreams
Yesterday we saw tomorrow never ending
Why did our love slip away
Sometimes it's the price you pay for love, for love

Who'll be there to hold me?
Who'll be my best friend?
Who will I come running to
When the day is over?

Will my nights be lonely?
Will I cry out for you?
Will it be a sad goodbye?
Heaven know we really tried

Touch me, my love
Gently, my love
Hold me till the morning knows the end of our love
Even though it breaks my heart
Breaking up is just a part of love, of love

Reminiscing over lost dreams
Yesterday we saw tomorrow never ending
Even though it breaks my heart
Breaking up is just a part of love, of love
