[Verse 1]
You'd given up on your hopes, on your dreams
You let them go, fell apart at the seams
How do you start building fire again?
When you're scared of the hurt, terrified of the pain

[Chorus]
So don't be afraid of your heart that's guiding you (Don't be afraid)
Don't be afraid of your heart
Don't be afraid of your heart that's driving you (Don't be afraid)
Don't be afraid of your heart

[Verse 2]
You realize that your life is on the line
Friends try to help, feeling they're being kind
Where do you go for the peace that you need
Where do you go to feel free?

[Chorus]
So don't be afraid of your heart that's guiding you (Don't be afraid)
Don't be afraid of your heart
Don't be afraid of your heart that's driving you (Don't be afraid)
Don't be afraid of your heart

[Bridge]
Finding the courage to be brave
Keeping the faith can be hard, so hard
Love is the drug that you crave
You've always been on your guard, your guard

[Chorus]
So don't be afraid of your heart that's guiding you (Don't be afraid)
Don't be afraid of your heart
Don't be afraid of your heart that's driving you (Don't be afraid)
Don't be afraid of your heart

[Post-Chorus]
I believe in you (Everyday, everyday)
I believe in you (Every way, every way)
I believe in you (Yes I do, yes I do)
I believe, I believe in you

[Outro]
Oh, I
Oh, I
Oh, I
Oh, I believe in you
Oh, I
Oh, I
