[Verse 1:]
I've been drinking
Kinda celebrating
'Cos I've been thinking
About my baby

I've been lonely
Kinda empty
Sleeping where ghosts
Don't find their home

[Pre-Chorus 1:]
Oh, what a day for a daydreamer
Spend my time thinking how lucky I am

[Chorus:]
'Cos I love everything about you
And have I told you how wonderful I think you are?
So hurry home, hurry home to me
So hurry home, hurry home to me

[Verse 2:]
I've been smoking
Kinda contemplating
Doing nothing
But that's alright with me

It's amazing
That I'm not crazy
So much waiting
But I know you'll come around

[Pre-Chorus 2:]
Oh, what a night for a light sleeper
Spend my time thinking how lucky I am

[Chorus]

[Outro:]
So hurry home, hurry home
Hurry home, hurry home to me
