[Verse 1]
Watch dog will get you if you don't watch out
Watch dog sees and watch dog knows
Watch keeps us on our toes
Watch dog assures you that the laws the law
No exception to the rule, watch dog is no fool

Watch dog protects you, he's out on the prowl
Guards and checks the best he can ,watch dog is a
Fighting man
Watch dog will throw, he's beam of light around
If some folks don't toe the line, watch dog's light
Will shine

[Chorus 1]
Texas has a whorehouse in it

[Chorus 2]
Lord have mercy on our souls

[Chorus 1]

[Chorus 2]

I'll expose the facts although it fills me with disgust
Please excuse the filthy dark details, and carnal lust

Filthy dark details, and carnal lust

[Verse 2]
Dancing going on inside it, can't you see they gone perm wild
I inquired no one denied it, now I think I'm getting riled
Bodies close together, arms and legs all rearranged
And the sheriff does not close him down
That's very strange

Does not close him down, that's very strange

Mean eyed juiced up brillitene honky tonky cowboys

Oh no

Mixing with green eyed thin lipped hard as nails peroxide blonds

Oh no

[Verse 3]
Not to mention some types ,that you never guess would venture near
I can all depraved and loose and wild, ninety miles from here
And now our own Melvin P Thorpe Sangers

[Chorus 1]

[Solo]
I'll not let this scandal fade

[Chorus 1]

[Verse 4]
All uprooting , our crusade
I can smell corruption, and I'll fight it to the top
Loveless copulation going on
And it must stop

[Bridge]
Stop this copulation
Stop that copulation
Loveless copulation
Stop that copulation

[Verse 5]
Texas has a whorehouse in it
Lord have mercy on our souls
Texas has a whorehouse in it
Lord have mercy on our souls
Watch dog smell corruption and will fight it to the top
Loveless copulation going on, going on, going on, going
On, going on
Going on

Don't touch that dial
This is Melvin P Thorp saying I'll be back, with new and
Revealing
Information about this and other cases
Watch dog never sleeps

[Outro]
And it must stop
Watch dog going to get you
Going to shine his light on you
Watch dog going to get you
Going to shine his light on you

Beginning her career as a child performer, Parton issued a few modestly successful singles from 1959 through the mid-1960s, showcasing her distinctive soprano voice. She came to greater prominence in 1967 as a featured performer on singer Porter Wagoner’s weekly television program; their first duet single, a cover of Tom Paxton’s “The Last Thing on My Mind”, was a top-ten hit on the country singles charts, and led to several successful albums before they ended their partnership in 1974. Moving towards mainstream pop music, Parton’s 1977 single “Here You Come Again” was a success on both the country and pop charts. A string of pop-country hits followed into the mid-1980s, the most successful being her 1981 hit 9 to 5" (from the film of the same name), and her 1983 duet with Kenny Rogers “Islands in the Stream”, both of which topped the U.S. pop and country singles charts. A pair of albums recorded with Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris were among her later successes. In the late 1990s, Parton returned to classic country/bluegrass with a series of acclaimed recordings
