Lightning struck me from out of the blue
It just a-hit me like a bolt
I just stood there shakin' all over
From the jolt

I opened up my eyes and discovered
What knocked me to my knees
You make my heart skip a beat, beat

All day long I'm walkin' around in a daze, yeah
And when I close my eyes, surprise, I see your pretty face

You kissed me, you touched me
The Earth moved 'neath my feet
You make my heart skip a beat, beat

All day long I'm walkin' around in a daze, yeah
And when I close my eyes, surprise, I see your pretty face

You kissed me, you touched me
The Earth moved 'neath my feet
You make my heart skip a beat, beat
You make my heart skip a beat, beat
You, yeah, you, make my heart skip a beat
Only you make my heart, skip a, skip a
Oh, oh, only you make my heart skip a beat, beat
Oh, oh, only you make my heart skip a beat, beat
Only you make my heart skip a beat, beat
Oh, oh, only you make my heart skip a beat, beat, beat
(Only you make my heart skip a beat)
(Only you make my heart skip a beat)
