Willie Junior Maxwell II (b. June 7, 1991), better known by his stage name Fetty Wap, is a rapper and singer coming out of Paterson, New Jersey. He describes his musical style as “ignorant R&B.”

“Fetty” means money and “Wap” is a homage to “Guwop,” a nickname for Gucci Mane (though “Guwop” can also mean money).

Fetty’s known for his breakout hit “Trap Queen” and other songs like “679,” “My Way,” “Again,” and “Jimmy Choo.”
