[Intro]
What would I do
Lonely as you
Pleasure or pain
I can't choose

What would I do
Lonely as you
Pleasure or pain
I can't choose

[Verse 1]
Wake up, you're dreaming
I can't stand your screaming
Drowning out these prayers
Just some words without meaning
Spare all the preaching
My secrets worth keeping
No one understands like I do

[Verse 2]
Keep out of reach
I'm your leading deletion
Hide behind these masks
Though they still see right through them

[Pre-Chorus]
Every now and then
You're down and out, my friend
Down and out again
Down and out again
Down and out again but I'm down with you

[Chorus]
One more time for the last time (ah oh)
One more time for release (ah oh)
One more time for the last time (ah oh)
Everyone wants to believe (ah oh)

[Verse 3]
Blame it on youth, all these years I've been losing
Blame it on the past, it's the last place I knew you
Blame all the children, they're raging and ruined
Blame it on the black and the blue

[Pre-Chorus]
Every now and then
You're down and out, my friend
Down and out again
Down and out again
Down and out again but I'm down with you

[Chorus]
One more time for the last time (ah oh)
One more time for release (ah oh)
One more time for the last time (ah oh)
Everyone wants to believe (ah oh)

[Pre-Chorus]
Every now and then
You're down and out, my friend
Down and out again
Down and out again
Down and out again but I'm down with you

[Chorus x2]
One more time for the last time (ah oh)
One more time for release (ah oh)
One more time for the last time (ah oh)
Everyone wants to believe (ah oh)

[Outro]
One more time for the last time
One more time for release
One more time for the last time
Everyone wants to believe
One more time for the last time
One more time for release
One more time for the very last time
Everyone wants to believe, alright

Foo Fighters

Foo Fighters are an American rock band formed in 1995 by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl. Originally a solo project by him to overcome the grief of Kurt Cobain’s death, Grohl attracted label interest with his inaugural demo tape.

According to Dave Grohl, the band is named after the UFOs that were reported by Allied aircraft pilots in World War II.

I was reading a lot of books on UFOs. Not only is it a fascinating subject, but there’s a treasure trove of band names in those UFO books! So, since I had recorded the first record by myself, playing all the instruments, but I wanted people to think that it was a group, I figured that FOO FIGHTERS might lead people to believe that it was more than just one guy. Silly, huh?
