[Verse 1]
I always thought we were in control
But our lives could never be what they were before
There's a rhythm in our love
Only you and I can feel it
Outsiders in a world where passion is a crime
So we conceal it
Now this hard road leaves a bitter taste at the bottom of my cup
But if I got you, No way, I'll never give up
Tonight, tomorrow, don't know how far we'll get
With the blue moonlight beyond another deep sunset
I'll be ready when there's nowhere to run
Yeah I been waiting for the heartache to come

[Chorus]
Crash and burn
Deep inside your heart
Crash and burn
Oh yeah
Crash and burn
Love moves too fast
I lose control
I'll never learn
Crash and burn

[Verse 2]
Now I believe there's a way for us
There'll come a time, there'll come a day for us
Unleash this heart and let the spirit free
It's the emotional part
It's a deep and dangerous thing
But I'll be ready when there's nowhere to run
See I been waiting for the heartache to come

[Chorus]

[Bridge]
Now I'm ready and there's nowhere to run
I'm waiting, waiting for the heartache to come

[Chorus][x2]
Crash and burn
Deep inside your heart
Crash and burn
Oh yeah
Crash and burn
Love moves too fast
I lose control
Crash and burn

[Outro]
Crash and burn
Can you feel it?
Crash and burn[x3]

Foreigner

The name of the band Foreigner was chosen because half of the original members were from England, and the other half from the U.S. The group had quite a few people join and leave, but one of the originals, Mick Jones, (not Mick Jagger) stayed the whole time. Foreigner celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2017, with Mick still there.
