[Spoken]
This time I've gone far enough, I see only nothing
It seems like a never ending abyss
Struggling to find my strength, I crack open my sore eyelids enough for light to leak in
And illuminate the infinite darkness
The light was coming from behind the seemingly endless collage of grey clouds over my head
I can see that beyond the clouds there was a white silhouette in the origin of the light, struggling to find me
Only succeeding enough to help me see that which was just below my feet
I look down at my toes gripping the edge of the ground where I was standing
Beyond that was nothing, a drop
A drop that seemed to lead to yet another dim light
No telling what was really at the bottom
I was startled at first, fearing I might fall into that unknown
How far was the drop? Would I die? Where would I end up?
A thousand questions race in my mind as I stared deep in the massive hole in front of my eyes
Suddenly, like an abrupt epiphany
I decided I no longer cared to learn the answers to these questions
So what if I don't know the answers? So what if I fall forever?
So what if I never come back!? So what if I die!?
So what if I die!?
So I leaned in, and I kept leaning, until I felt my toes lose their grip on the surface
I fell forever
I'm still falling
Still falling...

Ghostemane

Eric Whitney Ghoste (born April 15, 1991), also known as Ghostemane, is an artist from Lake Worth, Florida. He initially rose to popularity as a member of the now-defunct SCHEMAPOSSE—a group that included Lil Peep and JGRXXN amongst others. In a 2017 interview with No Jumper, Ghostemane said he decided to leave SCHEMAPOSSE as he wanted to grow as an independent artist, and didn’t want to be boxed in a certain group or movement.

In a 2016 interview with Metal Insider, Ghostemane stated that he was majorly influenced by metal bands such as Deicide, Death, Carcass, and Mayhem. He later got into hip hop groups such as Dirty Boyz, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and Three 6 Mafia. He listed bands like Circle Takes the Square and The Number Twelve Looks Like You as additional inspirations in a 2016 statement to Masked Gorilla.

Ghostemane has numerous side projects. These include his lo-fi black metal project Baader Meinhof, and his experimental noise project GASM.
