Songwriter: Harold Arlen E.Y. Harburg

[Taeyeon] Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high
There's a land, that I heard of once in a lullaby

[Sunny] Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream, really do come true

[Seohyun] Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me

[Jessica] Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me

[Taeyeon] Somewhere over the rainbow, bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow, why then why can't I

[Seohyun] Somewhere over the rainbow, bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow, why then why can't I

Girls’ Generation

Girls' Generation, also known as SNSD (So Nyeo Shi Dae), is a South Korean girl group formed by SM Entertainment. The group is composed of eight Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun. Originally a nine-piece group, Jessica Jung later departed from the group in September of 2014.

In 2007, the girl group released a self-titled Korean debut album. Though the album earned them a lot of popularity, it was not until 2009 that the group rose to fame with the single “Gee”.

In mid-2010, Girls' Generation signed with Nayutawave Records (which is now known as EMI Records Japan) in order to expand their talent to the Japanese music world. Their 2011 eponymous Japanese debut album peaked at the Japanese Oricon Albums Chart.
