[Verse 1]
You pack your bags and you move to the city
There is something missing here at home
You fix your hair and you are looking real pretty
It's time to get it out on your own
You are always fighting with your mama and your papa
Your family life is one big pain
When you, you gonna move to the city
Into the city where it all began

[Chorus 1]
You gotta move, you gotta move
Ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, time you gotta move

[Solo 1]

[Verse 2]
You stole your mama's car and your daddy's Plastic credit card
You are sixteen and you can't get a job you're not going very far
You are always riding with the teachers and the police
This life is much too insane
When you, you are going to move to the city
Into the city where it all began

[Chorus 1]
You gotta move, you gotta move
Ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, time you gotta move

[Chorus 2]
Right to the city where the real men get it
Child isn't it a pity
Sometimes it gets too shitty
Come on and hit me

[Solo 2]

[Verse 3]
You are on the streets and it isn't so pretty
You need to get a new what you please
You do what you got to do for the money
At times you end up on your knees
I am always buying with the local and the junkies
This city life is one big pain
But you, you had to move to the city
Into the city where it all began

[Chorus 1]
You gotta move, you gotta move
Ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, time you gotta move

[Chorus 2]
Oh right to the city with the real nitty gritty
Aw, child isn't it a pity
Sometimes it gets too shitty
Come on and hit me

Guns N’ Roses

Guns N' Roses was the most dangerous band in the world in the late 80s and early 90s. Led by singer Axl Rose and stylish guitarist Slash, they mixed the passion of blues, the heaviness of rock, and the attitude of punk, bringing forth a breath of fresh air to a music scene dominated by cheesy hair metal bands.

Their debut album, Appetite for Destruction, is the best selling debut of all-time. They outsold a headlining Aerosmith on their first major tour, released two double albums (Use Your Illusion I & II) simultaneously, and soon would play to audiences in excesses of 20,000 people.

However, cracks started forming in the band, as classic era drummer Steven Adler was fired from the band before the “Use Your Illusion” releases and founding rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin left abruptly during the ensuing tour. They were replaced by Matt Sorum and Gilby Clarke, respectively, with keyboardist Dizzy Reed joining the band and expanding the group’s sound.
