There's no decision
You look my way
I know that expression and what it says
It'd be so easy
The light is right
Forget in the moment who we are tonight
My body's singing and the music's strong
No coscience speaking ain't nothing wrong

Give it up
That's the way it starts
You've got to know old habits die hard
Give it up
Remember what I said
That kind of lovin' used to happen every day
Temptation makes a fool out of us all

I made my up
It had to end
But I've got this indecision when you're close again
I want you so bad baby
I can't deny
And those old fantasies are stealing across my mind
I thought by now that the flame had gone
I realize that it's still holding on

Give it up
That's the way it starts
You've got to know old habits die hard
Give it up
Remember what I said
That kind of lovin' used to happen every day
Temptation makes a fool out of us all

Hall & Oates

Hall & Oates released the first of their 18 albums in 1972 on Atlantic Records. They would go on to sell 13 million albums and 6 million singles primarily during the 70’s and 80’s when they recorded their most prolific and profound music. They blended rock, jazz, soul, and pop create a genre they titled rock and soul.

While their technical musicianship, innovative songwriting styles, and popular live performances were praised, they also had a fruitful partnership with their manager Tommy Mottola, who was helped Hall & Oates break into music videos before they were popular and made profitable financial deals by helping them get on the ground level of and corporate sponsorship of tours. Hall & Oates were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
