People all over the world
Join hands
Start a love train, love train
People all over the world
Join hands
Get on the love train, love train

The first stop that we'll make
Will be England
Tell all the folks in Russia
In China, too (Get on board)
Don't you know
It's time to get on board
(It's time to get on board)
Let this train keep on ridin'
Ridin' on through
Ridin' on through

People all over the world
Join hands
Start a love train, love train
People all over the world
Join hands
Get on the love train, love train

All of you brothers
Over in Africa (Come on now, people)
Tell all the folks in Egypt
In Israel, too
Please don't miss this train
At the station
'Cause if you miss it
I feel sorry, sorry for you
Sorry for you

People all over the world
Join hands
Start a love train, love train
People all over the world
Join hands
Get on the love train, love train

People all over the world
Join hands
Start a love train, love train
People all over the world
Join hands
Get on the love train, love train

People all over the world

Start it up, start it up
Come on, people
We're gonna ride, ride
Sisters and brothers, come on
Start a Love Train

Hall & Oates

Hall & Oates released the first of their 18 albums in 1972 on Atlantic Records. They would go on to sell 13 million albums and 6 million singles primarily during the 70’s and 80’s when they recorded their most prolific and profound music. They blended rock, jazz, soul, and pop create a genre they titled rock and soul.

While their technical musicianship, innovative songwriting styles, and popular live performances were praised, they also had a fruitful partnership with their manager Tommy Mottola, who was helped Hall & Oates break into music videos before they were popular and made profitable financial deals by helping them get on the ground level of and corporate sponsorship of tours. Hall & Oates were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
