[Verse 1]
I'm not even mad anymore
No, really, I ain't even mad anymore
Yeah, I don't even want you back anymore
I don't remember what we had anymore, yeah
I hope your back aches and your knees hurt
I hope you think about me sleepin' in your T-shirt
I hope your little brother turns out to be nothing like you
I hope that you hurt more than I do

[Chorus]
And honestly, I still wish you nothing but the best
I know that you're still self-obsessed
I hear the wicked get no rest
But when you do, I hope you dream of me

[Post-Chorus]
You know, you know I'm hopin'
Yeah, I hope you dream of me (You know, you know I'm hopin')
You know, you know I'm hopin'
I hope you dream of me (You know, you know I'm hopin')
You know, you know I'm hopin'
I hope you dream of me, yeah

[Verse 2]
I don't even hope you die these days
I hope you live 'til eighty-five these days
Regretting that you ever lied these days
I hope it's eating you alive these days (Yeah)
I hope you're up late in a bathroom
Just wishin' I'ma change my mind and come back soon
I hope that when you're thirty-five years
You'll wish that you tried to
'Cause I know that I do

[Chorus]
And honestly, I still wish you nothing but the best
I know that you're still self-obsessed
I hear the wicked get no rest
But when you do, I hope you dream of me

[Post-Chorus]
Yeah, I hope you dream of me
Yeah, I hope you dream of me
I hope you dream of me

[Bridge]
I ain't even mad about it anymore
No, really, I ain't even mad about it anymore
Maybe just a little less than I was before
I've got a twenty dollar bill that says
You're never, ever, ever gonna change

[Chorus]
I still wish you nothing but the best
I know that you're still self-obsessed
I hear the wicked get no rest
But when you do, I hope you dream of me
I still wish you nothing but the best
I know that you're still self-obsessed
I hear the wicked get no rest
But when you do, I hope you dream of me

[Post-Chorus]
You know, you know I'm hopin'
Yeah, I hope you dream of me (You know, you know I'm hopin')
You know, you know I'm hopin'
I hope you dream of me (You know, you know I'm hopin')
You know, you know I'm hopin'
I hope you dream of me, yeah (You know, you know I'm hopin')

Halsey

Halsey is the stage name of New Jersey singer Ashley Nicolette Frangipane. It is an anagram of her first name and reference to the Halsey Street subway stop and street in Brooklyn where she used to live. The bio on her website

I am Halsey. I will never be anything but honest. I write songs about sex and being sad."

Halsey was diagnosed with bipolar disorder when she was 17. This has greatly influenced her creative process from the start of her career. Songs like “Control” and “Gasoline” explicitly delve into her psychological and emotional battles. Manic, Halsey’s third album and arguably her rawest and most emotionally vulnerable, was written in a fully manic state rather than a depressive one.
