(One, two, three)
I've been down, I've been down
I've been down before
I've been down, I've been down
But never this low
I've been down, I've been down
I've been down before
I've been down, I've been down
But never this low

You know that even a strong man falls
And even a wise man has to learn
Yes, it's true that some men have it all
While me and the rest just crash and burn

Yeah

Well, you think you're telling me something
But I've heard it once or twice
You've been taking every turn that's wrong
And I've been taking your advice

Well, I've been down, I've been down
I've been down before
I've been down, I've been down
But never this low
Well, I've been down, I've been down
I've been down before
I've been down, I've been down
But never this low

Well, I know the day will come
When all my worries now are dead and gone
Won't assume that tomorrow you'll find what's gone, yeah
But I'll be right right here holding on

Yeah

Well, you think you're telling me something
But I've heard it once or twice
Well, you've been taking every road that's wrong
And I've been taking your advice

Well, I've been down, I've been down
I've been down before
I've been down, I've been down
But never this low
Well, I've been down, I've been down
I've been down before
I've been down, I've been down
But never this low

Break it down!

I've been down, I've been down
I've been down before
I've been down, I've been down
But never this low
I've been down, I've been down
I've been down before
I've been down, I've been down
But never this low

With 20+ years under their belts as a band, brothers Isaac, Taylor, and Zac Hanson have definitely made their mark! Five years building a fanbase as an independent band led to a meteoric rise in 1997 as they released their first commercial single, “MMMBop,” from their debut album Middle of Nowhere. The catchy, bubblegum pop appeal of the song helped make the band a household name.

A long line of hits and studio albums, multiple Grammy nominations and over 16 million album sales worldwide followed.

The band now runs an independent label while maintaining a “coveted connection with their global fanbase.”
