I waited up all night
There's something on my mind
I need to tell you why
Woah, he's playing you for a fool
He's fooling 'round on you
And I just lost my cool
Feeling so sad

Too bad for the running man
'Cause he waits too long
So he can't come back again
Too bad for the running man
'Cause I'm right here waiting
To make that girl forget
Too bad for the running man
Goodbye

Life isn't what it seems
Or something in a dream
That's not quite what I mean
Oh, woah yeah, I need to say goodbye
You think I didn't try
I'm not that other guy
I'm feeling so sad

Too bad for the running man
'Cause he waits too long
So he can't come back again

Too bad for the running man
'Cause I'm right here waiting
To help that girl forget
Too bad for the running man
Goodbye

Too bad for the running man
'Cause he waits too long
So he can't come back again
Too bad for the running man
'Cause I'm right here waiting
To help that girl forget
Too bad for the running man
Goodbye

Goodbye
Goodbye, goodbye
Goodbye, goodbye

It's too bad for the running man
It's too bad for the running man
It's too bad for the running man
It's too bad
It's too bad
It's too bad for the running man
It's too bad for the running man
It's too bad for the running man
It's too bad
It's too bad
It's too bad for the running man
It's too bad for the running man
It's too bad for the running man
It's too bad
It's too bad...

With 20+ years under their belts as a band, brothers Isaac, Taylor, and Zac Hanson have definitely made their mark! Five years building a fanbase as an independent band led to a meteoric rise in 1997 as they released their first commercial single, “MMMBop,” from their debut album Middle of Nowhere. The catchy, bubblegum pop appeal of the song helped make the band a household name.

A long line of hits and studio albums, multiple Grammy nominations and over 16 million album sales worldwide followed.

The band now runs an independent label while maintaining a “coveted connection with their global fanbase.”
