[Verse 1]
We could hide out in a little shack
In no man's land where nobody goes
We could be broke, running out of gas
Get stranded on a dark dusty road
And I could walk a thousand miles
To an endless desert without my shoes
There’s nothing in this world I'm scared to do, I'm scared to lose
Except you

[Pre-Chorus]
Something ’bout the sunshine in your eyes
The way you let a dream fill up your mind
You're the one I know I'll never lose
This heart
This heart

[Chorus]
Safe and sound with you
Safe and sound with you
And we dance all night
With our arms wrapped tight
And this heart is brave 'cause it feels
Safe and sound with you

[Verse 2]
I could wake you up at 3 o'clock
'Cause I wanna talk and you won't even care
You love me best when my face is bare
And I haven't even brushed out my hair
We burn the toast and we fan the smoke
And we laugh and feed the crumbs to the birds
Everyday’s like Sunday
And every moment feels like the first

[Pre-Chorus]
Something bout the sunshine in your eyes
The way you let a dream fill up your mind
You’re the one I know I'll never lose
This heart
This heart

[Chorus]
Safe and sound with you
Safe and sound with you
And we dance all night
With our arms wrapped tight
And this heart is brave ’cause it feels
Safe and sound with you

[Pre-Chorus]
Something bout the sunshine in your eyes
The way you let a dream fill up your mind
You're the one I know I'll never lose
This heart
This heart

[Chorus]
Safe and sound with you
Safe and sound with you
And we dance all night
With our arms wrapped tight
And this heart is brave 'cause it feels
Safe and sound with you
