[Verse 1]
If I could turn the page in time
Then I'd rearrange just a day or two (day or two...)
But I couldn't find a way
So, I'll settle for one day to believe in you (-lieve in you...)

[Chorus]
Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies
(Tell me lies, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you can't disguise
(Can't disguise, tell me lies)
Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies
Tell me, tell me lies

[Verse 1]
Although I'm not makin' plans
I hope that you understand there's a reason why (reason why...)
No more broken hearts
We're better off apart
Let's give it a try (give it a try...)
Let's give it a try
Give it a try

[Chorus]
Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies
(Tell me lies, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you can't disguise
(You can't disguise, you can't disguise)
Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies
Tell me, tell me lies
Tell me, tell me lies
Tell me, tell me lies

[Final Chorus]
Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies
(Tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you can't disguise
(You can't disguise, no you can't disguise)
Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies
(Tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)
Oh, no
Oh, no
Just tell me lies
