[Intro]
(Yeah) Oh, oh, oh, oh
And I just know we'll have a good time (Yeah, my love)

[Verse 1]
I've seen the world, been to many places
Made lots of friends, many different races

[Pre-Chorus]
I've had such fun around the world, it's true
African skies with a Nairobi moon
Oh, I fell asleep in Tuscany and dreamed
The one thing missing was you

[Chorus]
Runaway with me, my love
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Runaway with me, my love
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

[Pre-Chorus]
I woke up with an Australian breeze
And danced the dance with Aborigines
Oh, under the moon glow down in Mexico I dreamed
One thing was missing, that's you

[Chorus]
Runaway with me, my love
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Runaway with me, my love
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

[Break]

[Chorus]
Runaway with me, my love
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

[Refrain]
And I just know we'll have a good time (Yeah, my love)
Oh, oh, oh, and I just know we'll have a good time (Yeah, my love)

[Verse 2]
We'll sail the waters of many colors
We won't need a compass, love will guide our way
Don't need nobody, as long as we got each other
No need to hurry, we've got every day

[Pre-Chorus]
I wanna share the world with you, you see
Spring time in Paris feels so good to me
Oh, this is for me reality
So please make all my wishes come true

[Chorus]
Runaway with me, my love
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

[Outro]
And I just know we'll have a good time (Yeah, my love)
Ooh, ooh, and I just know we'll have a good time (Yeah, my love)
Oh, please come with me
And I just know we'll have a good time (Yeah, my love)
(Yeah)
(Yeah, yeah)
(Yeah)

Janet Jackson

Janet Damita Jo Jackson is an iconic R&B/pop artist who has sold over 100 million records worldwide and has amassed a number of awards in her illustrious music career.

Born in Gary, Indiana on May 16, 1966, Janet is the youngest of the Jackson family, who rose to prominence a few years after her birth when they signed with Motown Records. Janet joined the family business when she appeared on The Jacksons variety show in 1976, leading to her role as Penny Gordon in Season 5 of the CBS sitcom Good Times. She released two overlooked albums in the early 1980s—Janet Jackson (1982) and Dream Street (1984)—and continued to act during this time, appearing in Diff'rent Strokes and Fame.

The legend of Janet was created after she connected with the legendary Minneapolis production duo Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis to work on her seminal third album, Control. Control and her following album, 1989’s Rhythm Nation 1814, featured several #1 pop hits and made her a worldwide superstar. The trio would go on work on Janet’s subsequent hit albums, including janet., The Velvet Rope, as well as her 2015 comeback album, Unbreakable.
