[Intro: Janet Jackson & Missy Elliott]
Ha ha, hoo hoo, thought you'd get the money too
Greedy motherfuckers try to have their cake and eat it too
Haha, yo, check this out you greedy motherfucker

[Verse 1: Missy Elliott]
I changed all the credit cards
And switched the locks to all my doors
You thought my heart would be destroyed
Look around 'cause I'm chilllin;, boy
Whatcha go and get your lawyers for?
I, makes my dough in just one show, you know
Your lawyer shoulda let you know, you know
When you sue me, you gonna be broke you know
Ain't no way that you could bring me down easy
Any chick that you stick is real sleazy
Before I need you, I betcha gon' need me
You ain't want me anyway, you wanted to be me
What made you think I'd keep you around
While I, work my ass off and you just lounge, huh?
You slum, bum, son of a gun
And uh, how much your worth
I think negative, dunn

[Verse 2: Janet Jackson]
Sharpshooter into breaking hearts
A baby gigolo, a sex pistol
Hollering at everything that walks
No substance, just small talk
Know why you feeling on that girl's behind
You got a sleazy one track mind
Working your work until you think you find
Who's going home with you tonight

[Pre-Chorus: Janet Jackson & Missy Elliot]
Oh (Oh), who you gonna give it to?
Who you gonna steal it from?
Who's your next victim?
That's right
Oh (Oh), who you gonna lie to
Who you gonna cheat on?
Who you gonna leave alone?
That's what I'm talking about
Oh (Oh), what ya gonna tell her
After she discovers
You don't really love her
Oh (Oh), it's gonna be a showdown
Knock down, drag out
Gunslingin' shoot 'em up

[Chorus: Janet Jackson & Carly Simon]
I betcha think this song is about you (Yeah)
I betcha think this song is about you (I bet you)
I betcha think this song is about you (Yeah yeah)
I betcha think this song is about you
Don't you?
Don't you?
Don't you?

[Post-Chorus: Missy Elliott]
Remix
I'm doing better without you
And I'm happy without you
(Janet)

[Verse 3: Janet Jackson]
Sweatin' me but I'm not your type
You think you irk me and you're so right
I'd rather keep the trash and throw you out
Stupid bitch in my beach house
Naw I ain't gon' go and act a fool
And be the lead story on the nigga news
Not me sucker, I'll never be your lover
I'd rather make you suffer
You stupid motherfucker

[Pre-Chorus: Janet Jackson & Missy Elliot]
Oh (Oh), who you gonna give it to?
Who you gonna steal it from?
Who's your next victim?
That's right
Oh (Oh), who you gonna lie to
Who you gonna cheat on?
Who you gonna leave alone?
That's what I'm talking about
Oh (Oh), what ya gonna tell her

[Verse 4: Missy Eliott & Janet Jackson]
You musta thought you had game like nigga what
Walk around like you down, you don't give a fuck
'Cause you don't really want beef until you hit the streets
See, I'm a lover, not a fighter but I'll crack your teeth
Boy, plea plea, nah, don't bother me
'Cause when you had me, you ain't know how to chill with me
You wannabes in the street with the freakneeks
And now you all up on them knees still jocking me
But I'ma say it real real, keep it real
What the deal? How you feel? Is you ill? Is you sick? (Misdemeanor)
'Cause I'm the deal, still here, whip appeal and it's real
Don't front 'cause boy I'm the shit
I'm doing better without you, playa
And I'm happy without you, playa
And this song is about you, playa
Muthafuckin' son of a gun

[Bridge: Janet Jackson]
Got a chip upon your shoulder
I just knocked it off
Show me what you're gonna do
I ain't 'bout to run
You have just run out of ammunition
Shooting blanks now, you son of a gun
Missy, Janet, Carly

[Pre-Chorus: Janet Jackson & Missy Elliot]
Oh (Oh), who you gonna give it to?
Who you gonna steal it from?
Who's your next victim?

After she discovers
You don't really love her
Oh (Oh), it's gonna be a showdown

No, no, no, no, no
It's not what you say, it's what you do
You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you

I'm gone

Janet Jackson

Janet Damita Jo Jackson is an iconic R&B/pop artist who has sold over 100 million records worldwide and has amassed a number of awards in her illustrious music career.

Born in Gary, Indiana on May 16, 1966, Janet is the youngest of the Jackson family, who rose to prominence a few years after her birth when they signed with Motown Records. Janet joined the family business when she appeared on The Jacksons variety show in 1976, leading to her role as Penny Gordon in Season 5 of the CBS sitcom Good Times. She released two overlooked albums in the early 1980s—Janet Jackson (1982) and Dream Street (1984)—and continued to act during this time, appearing in Diff'rent Strokes and Fame.

The legend of Janet was created after she connected with the legendary Minneapolis production duo Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis to work on her seminal third album, Control. Control and her following album, 1989’s Rhythm Nation 1814, featured several #1 pop hits and made her a worldwide superstar. The trio would go on work on Janet’s subsequent hit albums, including janet., The Velvet Rope, as well as her 2015 comeback album, Unbreakable.
