[Verse 1]
There are times when I look above and beyond
There are times when I feel your love all around me, baby
I'll never forget my baby
When I feel that I don't belong, draw my strength
From the words when you said
"Hey, it's all about you, baby
Look deeper inside you, baby"

[Pre-Chorus]
(I dream about) Us together again
(And what I want) Us together again
(I know we'll be) Together again
And I'm so happy for my baby, yeah

[Chorus]
Everywhere I go (Everywhere I go)
Every smile I see (Every smile I see)
I know you are there (I know you are there)
Smilin' back at me (Smilin' back at me)
Dancin' in moonlight (Dancin' in moonlight)
I know you are free (I know you are free)
I can see your star (I can see your star)
Shining down on me (Shining down on me)

[Post-Chorus]
(Together again, ooh)
Good times we'll share again
(Together again, ooh)
It makes me wanna dance
(Together again, ooh)
Say it loud and proud
All my love's for you

[Verse 2]
Always been a true angel to me, now above
I can't wait for you to wrap your wings around me, baby
Ooh, wrap them around me, baby
Sometimes hear you whispering, "No more pain
No worries, will you ever see now, baby"
I'm so happy for my baby

[Pre-Chorus]
(I dream about) Us together again
(And all I want) Us together again
(I know we'll be) Together again
And I'm so happy for my baby, yeah

[Chorus]
Everywhere I go (Everywhere I go)
Every smile I see (Every smile I see)
I know you are there (I know you are there)
Smilin' back at me (Smilin' back at me)
Dancin' in moonlight (Dancin' in moonlight)
I know you are free (I know you are free)
I can see your star (I can see your star)
Shining down on me (Shining down on me)
Everywhere I go (Everywhere I go)
Every smile I see (Every smile I see)
I know you are there (I know you are there)
Smilin' back at me (Smilin' back at me)
Dancin' in moonlight (Dancin' in moonlight)
I know you are free (I know you are free)
I can see your star (I can see your star)
Shining down on me (Shining down on me)

[Post-Chorus]
(Together again, ooh)
Good times we'll share again
(Together again, ooh)
It makes me wanna dance
(Together again, ooh)
Say it loud and proud
All my love's for you

[Interlude]
There are times when I look above and beyond
There are times when I feel you smile upon me, baby
I'll never forget my baby
What I'd give just to hold you close
As on Earth
In heaven, we will be together, baby
Together again, my baby

[Chorus]
Everywhere I go
Every smile I see
I know you are there
Smiling back at me
Dancing in moonlight
I know you are free
'Cause I can see your star
Shining down on me
Everywhere I go (Everywhere I go)
Every smile I see (Every smile I see)
I know you are there (I know you are there)
Smilin' back at me (Smilin' back at me)
Dancin' in moonlight (Dancin' in moonlight)
I know you are free (I know you are free)
I can see your star (I can see your star)
Shining down on me (Shining down on me)
Everywhere I go
Every smile I see
I know you are there
Smiling back at me
Dancing in moonlight
I know you are free
I can see your star
Shining down on me

Janet Jackson

Janet Damita Jo Jackson is an iconic R&B/pop artist who has sold over 100 million records worldwide and has amassed a number of awards in her illustrious music career.

Born in Gary, Indiana on May 16, 1966, Janet is the youngest of the Jackson family, who rose to prominence a few years after her birth when they signed with Motown Records. Janet joined the family business when she appeared on The Jacksons variety show in 1976, leading to her role as Penny Gordon in Season 5 of the CBS sitcom Good Times. She released two overlooked albums in the early 1980s—Janet Jackson (1982) and Dream Street (1984)—and continued to act during this time, appearing in Diff'rent Strokes and Fame.

The legend of Janet was created after she connected with the legendary Minneapolis production duo Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis to work on her seminal third album, Control. Control and her following album, 1989’s Rhythm Nation 1814, featured several #1 pop hits and made her a worldwide superstar. The trio would go on work on Janet’s subsequent hit albums, including janet., The Velvet Rope, as well as her 2015 comeback album, Unbreakable.
