JIHYO

Park Jihyo (박지효) monoymously known as Jihyo is a South Korean singer and dancer under JYP Entertainment. She is the main vocalist of Korean-Japanese girl group, TWICE.

Jihyo started training to become an singer at the age of 8. Many were surprised to find out Jihyo’s time training in JYP, making her one of have one of the longest training periods a trainee has trained in order to debut. Additionally, she was originally meant to be apart of a group before TWICE called, 6mix. On May 5th, 2015, Jihyo participated as an contestant on MNET reality show, SIXTEEN. As the official lineup for TWICE was only going to include seven members, Jihyo ranked #7, leading her to debut with TWICE.

Asides from Jihyo’s activities in TWICE, she’s sang multiple soundtracks and covers as an solo artist. She had even starred on The King of Mask Singer versus SEVENTEEN’s DOKYEOM.
