(J. Jett/K. Laguna/S. Lunt)

My animal nature
Will dominate ya
Just wait and see

Yeah there's no protection
This whole deception
Is killing me

Look what we got
It's not what it seems to be
Take aim and fire
Gotcha gotcha gotcha gotcha

Hey it's so confusing
This whole illusion
Will tell on you

You take what you want
Get what you need
Take aim and fire
Gotcha

Who who who can you trust
Who can you trust
Just say enough is enough
Enough is enough
Who who who can you trust
Who can you trust
Just say enough is enough
Who who who can you trust

Look what we got
It's not what it seems to be
Take aim and fire
Gotcha

Who who who can you trust
Who can you trust
Just say enough is enough
Enough is enough
Who who who can you trust
Who can you trust
Just say enough is enough
Who who who can you trust

Who who who can you trust
Who can you trust
Just say enough is enough
Enough is enough
Who who who can you trust
Who can you trust
Just say enough is enough
Oh I gotcha
Who who who can you trust
Who can you trust
Just say enough is enough
Oh I gotcha
Who who who can you trust
Who can you trust
Just say enough is enough
Oh I gotcha
Who who who can you trust
Who can you trust
Just say enough is enough
Oh I gotcha
Who who who can you trust
Who can you trust
Just say enough is enough
Oh I gotcha
Who who who can you trust
Who can you trust
Just say enough is enough
Oh I gotcha
Who who who can you trust
Who can you trust
Just say enough is enough

Joan Jett & The Blackhearts

After splitting with The Runaways, and releasing her first solo album, Joan Jett placed an ad in LA Weekly looking for bandmates. Gary Ryan, Eric Ambel, and Danny “Furious” O'Brien joined her, creating the orginial Blackhearts lineup.

After their initial tour though, O'Brien was replaced with Lee Crystal.

Early on, keeping the band afloat was not easy. Joan and producer Kenny Laguna struggled, sometimes selling copies of albums from the trunk of his car. Eventually unable to keep up with the demand for Joan Jett’s album, they signed with Boardwalk Records.
