[Intro]
I just wanna feel somethin'
I just wanna feel somethin'
Yeah, yeah-yeah, hey
Hey, hey-hey, hey

[Verse]
I loved you well just for you to turn to an enemy
I love the smell of you burnin' your last bridge with me
I love it, yeah, I love it
I love it, yeah, I love it
Whatever makes you happy (Makes you happy)
That's all that ever mattered (Ever mattered)
And I was raised to give my thanks and hold my baby down (Hold you down)
That wasn't enough
No, it wasn't enough
'Cause it's never enough, never enough
I let them crucify me
I carry my head down, humble
Some people get their kicks just steppin' on your dreams, I know it
Kick me while I'm down
And still, I get up
Yeah, still, I get up, every day, I get up
How can I give a damn when I don't give a fuck?
All of the things I've lost, all I can do is love
'Cause I'm a rebel, baby, I don't play like I should
You held the shovel, baby, buried me in the dirt
I never been a Saint, baby, how does a sinner taste?
Don't believe what I read, got my own mind to think
Guess I'm a misfit, baby, they won't ever love me
I'm not the perfect pretty girl up on the magazine
With no opinions, so trust my all and wave
She'll never show her heart and they'll all call her brave
I miss my family, things will never be the same
To all the people that we lost, I'm screamin', "Rest in peace"
Oh

[Outro]
I just wanna feel somethin'
I just wanna feel somethin'
I just wanna feel somethin'
I just wanna feel alive
I just wanna feel somethin'
I just wanna feel somethin'
I just wanna feel somethin'
I just wanna feel alive
I just wanna feel somethin'
I just wanna feel somethin'
I just wanna feel somethin'
I just wanna feel alive
I just wanna feel somethin'
I just wanna feel somethin'
I just wanna feel somethin'
I just wanna feel alive

Kali Uchis

Karly-Marina Loaiza (born July 17, 1994), better known as her stage name Kali Uchis, is a Colombian-American singer, songwriter, record producer, music video director, and fashion designer.

Sporting a 50’s aesthetic (from which Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald are cited influences), Kali’s brand of art pop spans the length of many genres of soul (doo-wop, reggae, funk, quiet storm, psychedelia) with a Latina twist.

Kali grew up playing saxophone and piano; she was introduced to music production and video editing while she was in high school and released her debut project Drunken Babble in 2012. Since then, Kali has gone on to release a 2015 EP, Por Vida, and her debut album, Isolation, in 2018.
