[Verse 1]
Flowers in her hair, she don't care
Peach-pink lips, yeah, everybody stares
(Ooh) You think you've seen her in a magazine
(Ooh) It's like she walked right out of your dreams
Black Ray Bans, you know she's with the band
Passport stamps, she's cosmopolitan
(Ooh) Yeah, she runs the place like Penny Lane
(Ooh) Yeah, you're lucky if you're on her plane
From Tokyo, to Mexico, to Rio!

[Chorus]
That girl’s a trip
A one-way ticket
Takes you miles high, so high
'Cause she’s got that one international smile
Catch her if you can
Yeah, she's so in demand
Takes you miles high, so high
'Cause she’s got that one international smile

[Verse 2]
She’s got that je ne sais quoi, you know it
So très chic, yeah, she's a classic
(Ooh) Yeah, she’s footloose and so fancy free
(Ooh) Yeah, she dances to a her own beat
'Cause she's the muse and the artist
Always leaves a trail of stardust
(Ooh) 'Cause she’s a little bit of Yoko
(Ooh) And she’s a little bit of, “Oh no”
From LA, Miami, to New York City!

[Chorus]
That girl’s a trip
A one-way ticket
Takes you miles high, so high
'Cause she’s got that one international smile
Catch her if you can (Catch her if you can)
Yeah, she's so in demand (In demand)
Takes you miles high, so high
'Cause she’s got that one international smile

[Spoken Interlude]
Please fasten your seatbelts
And make sure your champagne glasses are empty
We are now approaching the runway
So get ready for take-off

[Breakdown]
She’s got that international smile
She’s got that one international smile

[Chorus]
That girl’s a trip (Girl’s a trip)
A one-way ticket
Takes you miles high, so high
'Cause she’s got that one international smile (She’s got that smile)
Catch her if you can (If you can)
Yeah, she's so in demand (So in demand)
Takes you miles high, so high
'Cause she’s got that one international smile

Katy Perry

Katheryn Elizabeth “Katy” Hudson (born October 25, 1984), known by her stage name Katy Perry, is an American singer, songwriter, businesswoman, philanthropist, and actress. She was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California. Having had very little exposure to mainstream pop music in her childhood, she pursued a career in gospel music as a teen and released her debut self-titled studio album in 2001. She also recorded a second solo album in 2005, (A) Katy Perry, which was scrapped.

Afterwards, Perry (her mother’s maiden name, taken to avert confusion with Kate Hudson) reinvented herself as a party girl pop star, breaking out with 2008’s One of the Boys and the #1 hits “I Kissed a Girl” and “Hot n Cold”.

Follow-up Teenage Dream (2010) equalled Michael Jackson’s record of five chart-toppers on the same album, and made Perry even more ubiquotous in the pop landscape. Following her marriage and eventual divorce from British comedian Russell Brand, she released an updated version, Teenage The Complete Confection and concert film Katy Part of Me in 2012. She released her fourth album, Prism, in 2013, along with some standalone singles, such as “Rise”.
