[Verse 1]
Looks like I made a mess again
Heartbreak everywhere I step
This fire is getting hot again
But I touch the flame 'cause I'm a curious cat
Creepin' where I don't belong
Findin' out what I knew all along
Cryin' all alone
And it's all my fault, all my fault

[Pre-Chorus]
Yeah, I did it again... again

[Chorus]
Oh, I'm gettin' tired of believin'
Even sicker of pretendin'
That it's not so bad, just wait it out
Oh, I think you're feedin' me lies again
The only good man left wasn't him
And that's how I feel right now, so just let me be
Let me be

[Verse 2]
It seems every time I find a good man
He's got a good little wife
I'm not jealous, but I won't lie
I don't wanna hear about your wonderful life
And babies everywhere I look
Trophy wives with their little black books
At this rate, I'm gonna end up alone
It's probably all my fault, all my fault

[Pre-Chorus]
Oh, another dead end... again

[Chorus]
Oh, I'm gettin' tired of believin'
Even sicker of pretendin'
That it's not so bad, just wait it out
Oh, I think you're feedin' me lies again
The only good man left wasn't him
And that's how I feel right now

[Bridge]
Bitter pill that I've swallowed (Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh)
Just how low can my heart sink (Ohh, ohh)
Fairy tales from so long ago (Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh)
Save them for someone that's not smart enough to know

[Chorus]
'Cause I, I'm gettin' tired of believin'
I'm through pretendin'
Yeah, I'm broken and sad, so I'll sit this one out
Oh, I think you're feedin' me lies again
The only good man left wasn't him
And that's how I feel right now

[Outro]
How I feel right now
How I feel right now
How I feel right now
Let me be
How I feel right now
How I feel right now
How I feel right now
Let me be

In 2002, she came to prominence after winning the first season of American Idol, and has since been established as “The Original American Idol”. Her debut single, “A Moment Like This”, topped the US Billboard Hot 100 and broke the record for the biggest jump to number one in the chart’s history.

Her first album, Thankful included the top ten single “Miss Independent”, which earned her first Grammy nomination. Her second album Breakaway produced the hit single “Since U Been Gone” which reached number two on the Hot 100 and was certified platinum by the RIAA.

Clarkson went in a different direction with her self-creatively-controlled third album, My December. It debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 and produced the top-ten single “Never Again.” Her fourth album, All I Ever Wanted debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Lead single “My Life Would Suck Without You” re-broke the record for biggest jump to number one on the Hot 100, jumping 97-1 in its second week on the chart. The record still stands today.
