[Verse 1]
Some days I barely miss you, some days I'm almost alright
And some nights I turn to kiss you, but you're not beside my side
Got this same damn conversation playing over and over in my mind
In my mind
Yeah, my heart is wet and heavy, but my body's on the run
'Cause the night is gonna get me and it's only just begun
I keep livin' on the memory of you and me, you, me in the Sun

[Chorus]
No matter where you are
A little piece of my heart
Will be forever with you
In the blue, in the blue
In a thousand years
We'll be far from here
I'll be forever with you
In the blue, in the blue

[Verse 2]
Yeah, I'm runnin' from this city like a diamond in the sky
And I'm tryna count my blessings 'stead of all the tears I've cried
I keep driving in this darkness to get you, to get you off my mind
Off my mind
I'll start over in a new place, put my feet back on the ground
Can't believe the mess that I've made, just tryna drown you out
Baby, one day I won't miss you, I'll stop looking for you in the crowd

[Chorus]
No matter where you are
A little piece of my heart
Will be forever with you
In the blue, in the blue
In a thousand years
We'll be far from here
I'll be forever with you
In the blue, in the blue

[Bridge]
I see your face in every stranger
Footsteps down the hall
Warm breath, back of my neck
Shadows on the wall
And your voice is loud as thunder
I can hear it crashing in my head
Yeah

[Chorus]
No matter where you are
A little piece of my heart
Will be forever with you
In the blue, in the blue
In a thousand years
We'll be far from here
I'll be forever with you
In the blue, in the blue

[Outro]
I'll be forever with you
In the blue, in the blue

Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Brianne Clarkson (born April 24, 1982) is an American singer, songwriter, and occasional actress. In 2002, she came to prominence after winning the first season of American Idol, and has since been established as “The Original American Idol”. Her debut single, “A Moment Like This”, topped the US Billboard Hot 100 and broke the record for the biggest jump to number one in the chart’s history.

Her first album, Thankful included the top ten single “Miss Independent”, which earned her first Grammy nomination. Her second album Breakaway produced the hit single “Since U Been Gone” which reached number two on the Hot 100 and was certified platinum by the RIAA.

Clarkson went in a different direction with her self-creatively-controlled third album, My December. It debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 and produced the top-ten single “Never Again.” Her fourth album, All I Ever Wanted debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Lead single “My Life Would Suck Without You” re-broke the record for biggest jump to number one on the Hot 100, jumping 97-1 in its second week on the chart. The record still stands today.
