[Verse 1]
Simple math
Our love divided by the square root of pride
Multiply your lies, plus time
I'm goin' out of my mind
It was heavy when I finally figured it out, alone

[Chorus]
I didn't get it the first time (Ooh)
But don't think I've been so blind (Ooh)
And I may not be Einstein, but I know
Dumb plus dumb equals you
Dumb plus dumb equals you (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
Dumb plus dumb equals you (You)

[Verse 2]
Even had the nerve to flirt with her in front of my face
Here's your keys, your bags, your clothes, and now get out of my place
You say I'm crazy, and that we're happy
Is that supposed to comfort me? (Oh, yeah)

[Chorus]
I didn't get it the first time (Ooh)
Don't think I've been so blind (Ooh)
Yeah, I may not be Einstein, but I know
Dumb plus dumb equals you
Dumb plus dumb equals you (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
Dumb plus dumb equals you (You)

[Bridge]
All of your promises plus
A thousand apologies just
Take out the pain and then it leaves us
With nothing at all, no, nothing at all
You can stop wasting my time (Ooh)
Without you, I'm just fine (Ooh)
Why did it take me so long to figure out
Dumb plus dumb equals you? (Ooh)
Equals you, yeah

[Chorus]
I didn't get it the first time (Ooh)
Don't think I've been so blind (Ooh)
Yeah, I may not be Einstein, but I know
Dumb plus dumb equals you
Dumb plus dumb equals you

[Outro]
Simple math
Our love divided by the square root of pride
Multiply your lies, plus time
I'm going out of my mind
And I may not be Einstein, but I know
Dumb plus dumb equals you
Equals you

Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Brianne Clarkson (born April 24, 1982) is an American singer, songwriter, and occasional actress. In 2002, she came to prominence after winning the first season of American Idol, and has since been established as “The Original American Idol”. Her debut single, “A Moment Like This”, topped the US Billboard Hot 100 and broke the record for the biggest jump to number one in the chart’s history.

Her first album, Thankful included the top ten single “Miss Independent”, which earned her first Grammy nomination. Her second album Breakaway produced the hit single “Since U Been Gone” which reached number two on the Hot 100 and was certified platinum by the RIAA.

Clarkson went in a different direction with her self-creatively-controlled third album, My December. It debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 and produced the top-ten single “Never Again.” Her fourth album, All I Ever Wanted debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Lead single “My Life Would Suck Without You” re-broke the record for biggest jump to number one on the Hot 100, jumping 97-1 in its second week on the chart. The record still stands today.
