[Verse 1]
You know my soul
You know everything about me there's to know
You know my heart
How to make me stop and how to make me go
You should know I love everything about you, don't you know?

[Chorus]
That I'm thankful
For the blessing
And the lessons that I've learned with you
By my side
That I'm thankful, so thankful for the love
That you keep bringing in my life
In my life
Thankful, so thankful

[Verse 2]
You know my thoughts
Before I open up my mouth and try to speak
You know my dreams
Must be listening when I'm talking in my sleep
I hope you know
I love havin' you around me, don't you know? Yeah

[Chorus]
That I'm thankful
For the blessing
And the lessons that I've learned with you
By my side
That I'm thankful, so thankful for the love
That you keep bringing in my life
In my life

[Verse 3]
Don't you know that I'm thankful for the moment?
When I'm down, you always know how to make me smile
Thankful for the joy that you're bringing into my life

[Bridge]
For the lessons that I've learned
For the trouble I've known
For the heartache and pain that you've thrown my way
When I didn't think I could go on
But you made me feel strong
With you, I am never alone
Thankful, so thankful

[Chorus]
That I'm thankful
For the blessing
And the lessons that I've learned with you
By my side
That I'm thankful, so thankful for the love
That you keep bringing in my life
In my life

[Outro]
When I'm down, you always know how to make me smile
Thankful for the joy that you're bringing into my life, in my life
Thankful, so thankful
Thankful, so thankful

Kelly Brianne Clarkson (born April 24, 1982) is an American singer, songwriter, and occasional actress. In 2002, she came to prominence after winning the first season of American Idol, and has since been established as “The Original American Idol”. Her debut single, “A Moment Like This”, topped the US Billboard Hot 100 and broke the record for the biggest jump to number one in the chart’s history.

Her first album, Thankful included the top ten single “Miss Independent”, which earned her first Grammy nomination. Her second album Breakaway produced the hit single “Since U Been Gone” which reached number two on the Hot 100 and was certified platinum by the RIAA.

Clarkson went in a different direction with her self-creatively-controlled third album, My December. It debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 and produced the top-ten single “Never Again.” Her fourth album, All I Ever Wanted debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Lead single “My Life Would Suck Without You” re-broke the record for biggest jump to number one on the Hot 100, jumping 97-1 in its second week on the chart. The record still stands today.
