[Verse 1: Kodak Black]
I knew it right away
I was gon' be yours, you was gon' be bae
Ever since we fell in love
Ever since you gave me the time of day
I switched my whole setup
I'm keeping it real, ain't tryna play
You know I'm fucked about you
Everything you do, everything you say
I'm on another time
I wanna be yours, you gotta be mine
Going through a lot
Be patient with me, hold me down
I'm going through a lot
Be patient with me, hold me down
I'm on another time
I wanna be yours, you gotta be mine
I'm going through a lot
Be patient with me, hold me down

[Interlude: Gucci Mane]
Free Kodak

[Verse 2: Gucci Mane]
They say I changed my ways
I give a fuck what people say, I'm tryna fill the safe (Racks)
Done got so rich, I play it safe, I'm on a paper chase (Go)
I did the time, you switched on me and helped them build a case (Yeah)
I got a past, I know it's bad and it can't be erased (Nah)
Mistake after mistake like I can't catch a break
I bought a Phantom the other day, and my bitch the truck and Wraith
No, they can't fuck with bae
They wish that they was in her place, I went away
She held me down every single day and every way
That's why I changed the name
My wife, you earned the right to say, it's Gucci

[Interlude: CBE]
Ayy, see, it don't cost a dollar just to keep it real
Nah
Ayy

[Verse 3: CBE, Kodak Black, Both]
Ayy, shawty said she was gon' ride for me
When that time came, she ain't even ride for me (Nah)
Ayy, my dawg said he was gon' slide for me (Yep)
When that time came, he ain't even slide for me (Nah)
Rippin' and runnin', road runnin', big burner on my hip
Rippin' and runnin', road runnin', big burner on my hip
Ain't been thuggin' on the Ugly, I been moving swift
Came out the fire since I was a youngin and you knew this shit
When I be out here actin' a dummy, you be losing it
So I can't say that you don't love me, I just do stupid shit
Rippin' and runnin', road runnin' with a hundred clip
I be tryna get this shit together for the fuck of it
Babe, I'm tryna get this shit together for the both of us

[Outro: Kodak Black]
Babe, I'm tryna get this shit together for the both of us

Kodak Black

Bill Kahan Kapri (born Dieuson Octave on June 11th, 1997), better known as Kodak Black, is a rapper from Pompano Beach, Florida. A rapper since the age of 12, Kodak first began to rise in popularity after Drake posted an Instagram video dancing along to Kodak’s song “SKRT.” He’s also responsible for hits such as “Tunnel Vision,” which chronicles his journey in and out of imprisonment, and his XXXTENTACION-assisted “Roll in Peace.”

Kodak Black has been arrested multiple times for a variety of offenses including possession of a deadly weapon by a convicted felon, fleeing from officers, false imprisonment, and armed robbery. Black served jail time for several misdemeanor drug charges in his native Florida, as well as in South Carolina for sexual assault. Most recently, Kodak was booked into prison on the night of Thursday, January 18, 2019. Authorities claim their arrest stemmed from an Instagram post of Kodak waving a gun around recklessly in front of a child while smoking marijuana.
