[Intro]
I'm your boombox

[Verse 1]
Tune into the sound of my underground
Blasting out loud
Of my 5 point 1's
I'm ready to run
Give me some fun
Take my 7 series down, out on highway number 1
I'm going down to Malibu
I'm taking you

[Pre-Chorus]
I've got a Boombox
You've got batteries
I've got a Boombox
Give me your CD

[Verse 2]
Are you enjoying the ride
Bright lights, blue skies
Moon roof open wide
Tuned in - who me?
Wouldn't mind when I say it
Mmm hmm
Makes me want to move
Mmmm hmm
Makes me want to groove

[Pre-Chorus]
I've got a Boombox
You've got batteries
I've got a Boombox
Give me your CD

[Chorus]
Let it drop, make it rock
Baby, I'm your boombox
Make you spin like a top
Turn me on and push play
Shout it out from the roof top
I want to get in
Let it drop, make it rock
Baby, I'm your Boombox
Let it drop, make it rock
Baby, I'm your boombox
Make you spin like a top
Turn, on, push, play
Shout it out from the roof top
I want to get in
Let it drop, make it rock
Baby, I'm your Boombox

Boombox, boombox
Boombox, boombox

[Bridge]
Listen to my future sounds
Of Los Angeles
Are your speakers loud enough to handle this?
If you think they are
Then your on the guest list for sonic bliss

Sonic bliss, sonic bliss

Boombox, boombox

[Chorus]
Let it drop, make it rock
Baby, I'm your boombox
Make you spin like a top
Turn me on and push play
Shout it out from the roof top
I want to get in
Let it drop, make it rock
Baby, I'm your Boombox
Let it drop, make it rock
Baby, I'm your boombox
Make you spin like a top
Turn, on, push, play
Shout it out from the roof top
I want to get in
Let it drop, make it rock
Baby, I'm your Boombox

[Outro]
Boombox, boombox
Boombox, boombox
Boombox, boombox
Boombox, boombox

Kylie Minogue

Kylie Minogue is an Australian singer, songwriter, and actress. Often referred to as the Goddess of Pop with a career spanning over 30 years, she has transformed from girl-next-door soap star to ‘90s pop starlet, and short-lived indie darling to bona fide superstar.

Kylie earned her first big break on the Australian soap opera Neighbours, playing tomboy mechanic Charlene Mitchell. An on-screen romance with Jason Donovan – who played Scott Robinson – blossomed into a real-life relationship, and their wedding on the soap drew in millions of viewers. However, her real ambition was a successful career in music, and by 1988 her debut album, Kylie, was released, reaching #1 in the UK and Australia. Notching up 10 UK Top 3 singles by 1993, she was one of the defining popstars of the early ‘90s. Her follow-ups to the debut album – Enjoy Yourself, Rhythm of Love and Let’s Get To It – all reached the Top 15 in the UK.

With a blossoming relationship with late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence, Kylie was encouraged to be more ambitious with her image and sound. As such, she left her former label, PWL, and released the daring “Confide In Me” in early 1994. Critics praised her re-invention, and the single restored the success she had somewhat lost with her previous album. Impossible Princess was another critical success but failed to make much of an impact on the charts, which led some media outlets to believe that her “15 minutes of fame” were over.
