[Intro]
Wait...
Is that the train?
I'm not missing the train

Toot toot, ah
Beep beep
Toot toot, ah
Beep beep
Toot toot, ah
Beep beep
Toot toot, ah
Beep beep
Do the locomotion, locomotion
Do the locomotion, locomotion
Do the locomotion, locomotion
Do the locomotion, locomotion

[Verse 1]
Everybody's doing a brand new dance now
(Come on, baby, do the loco-motion)
I know you'll get to like it if you give it a chance now
(Come on, baby, do the loco-motion)
My little baby sister can do it with ease
It's easier than learning your ABCs
So come on, come on
Do the loco-motion with me

[Chorus]
You gotta swing your hips now
Come on, baby, jump up, jump back
Oh well, I think you got the knack, oh
(Know you got it, woo!)

[Verse 2]
Now that you can do it, let's make a chain now
(Come on, baby, do the loco-motion)
Chug-a chug-a motion like a railway train now
(Come on, baby, do the loco-motion)
Do it nice and easy now, don't lose control
A little bit of rhythm and a lot of soul
So come on, come on
Do the loco-motion with me

[Bridge]
I can do it, we can do it, he can do it, she can do it, they can do it
We can locomotion
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Toot toot
I can do it, we can do it, he can do it, she can do it, they can do it
We can locomotion
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Toot toot
Toot toot, ah
Beep beep
Toot toot, ah
Beep beep

[Verse 3]
Move around the floor in a loco-motion
(Come on, baby, do the loco-motion)
Do it holding hands if you got the notion
(Come on, baby, do the loco-motion)
There's never been a dance that's so easy to do
It even makes you happy when you're feeling blue
So come on, come on
Do the loco-motion with me

[Chorus]
Do the locomotion, locomotion
(You gonna do The Locomotion with me?)
Do the locomotion, locomotion
Do the locomotion, locomotion
Do the locomotion, locomotion

[Outro]
I can do it, we can do it, he can do it, she can do it, they can do it
We can locomotion
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Toot toot
I can do it, we can do it, he can do it, she can do it, they can do it
We can locomotion
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Toot toot
I can do it, we can do it, he can do it, she can do it, they can do it
We can locomotion
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Toot toot
I can do it, we can do it, he can do it, she can do it, they can do it
We can locomotion
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Toot toot

Kylie Minogue

Kylie Minogue is an Australian singer, songwriter, and actress. Often referred to as the Goddess of Pop with a career spanning over 30 years, she has transformed from girl-next-door soap star to ‘90s pop starlet, and short-lived indie darling to bona fide superstar.

Kylie earned her first big break on the Australian soap opera Neighbours, playing tomboy mechanic Charlene Mitchell. An on-screen romance with Jason Donovan – who played Scott Robinson – blossomed into a real-life relationship, and their wedding on the soap drew in millions of viewers. However, her real ambition was a successful career in music, and by 1988 her debut album, Kylie, was released, reaching #1 in the UK and Australia. Notching up 10 UK Top 3 singles by 1993, she was one of the defining popstars of the early ‘90s. Her follow-ups to the debut album – Enjoy Yourself, Rhythm of Love and Let’s Get To It – all reached the Top 15 in the UK.

With a blossoming relationship with late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence, Kylie was encouraged to be more ambitious with her image and sound. As such, she left her former label, PWL, and released the daring “Confide In Me” in early 1994. Critics praised her re-invention, and the single restored the success she had somewhat lost with her previous album. Impossible Princess was another critical success but failed to make much of an impact on the charts, which led some media outlets to believe that her “15 minutes of fame” were over.
