[Verse 1]
Surely this can't be heaven
Though it feels like I died
I guess it's just goodbye then
There's nowhere left to hide
Can't you see you have the power
To make or break my day?
I'm getting weaker by the hour
All the time you stay away

[Chorus]
I'm so alone, I feel so lonely
Here on my own, I've lost my way
I never dreamt that it could hurt like this boy
Lost in the absence of your precious kiss
Why do I feel this pain?
Love's just a dangerous game

[Verse 2]
So where do I go from here?
What do I have to do?
Something to make you realize
Just how I feel for you
Don't you see you have the power
To make or break my day?
I'm getting weaker by the hour
Do you hear me when I say?

[Chorus]
I'm so alone, I feel so lonely
Here on my own, I've lost my way
I never dreamt that it could hurt like this boy
Lost in the absence of your precious kiss
Why do I feel this pain?
Love's just a dangerous game

[Bridge]
But the feeling still remains
And the embers feed the flame
How I hope you feel the same
So our love may grow again
It's only you that has the power
To make or break my day
I'm getting weaker by the hour
Can't you hear me say?
I can't face the world today

[Chorus]
I'm so alone, I feel so lonely
Here on my own, I've lost my way
I never dreamt that it could hurt like this boy
Lost in the absence of your precious kiss
Why do I feel this pain?
Love's just a dangerous game

[Outro]
Wake up, baby, give yourself to me
I'm the one for you, I'll show you intimacy
Forever, no question, unbridle my affection
And you will feel my love explode in your direction
Wake up, baby, give yourself to me
I'm the one for you, I'll show you intimacy
Forever, no question, unbridle my affection
And you will feel my love explode in your direction
Wake up, baby, give yourself to me
I'm the one for you, I'll show you intimacy
Forever, no question, unbridle my affection
And you will feel my love explode in your direction

Kylie Minogue

Kylie Minogue is an Australian singer, songwriter, and actress. Often referred to as the Goddess of Pop with a career spanning over 30 years, she has transformed from girl-next-door soap star to ‘90s pop starlet, and short-lived indie darling to bona fide superstar.

Kylie earned her first big break on the Australian soap opera Neighbours, playing tomboy mechanic Charlene Mitchell. An on-screen romance with Jason Donovan – who played Scott Robinson – blossomed into a real-life relationship, and their wedding on the soap drew in millions of viewers. However, her real ambition was a successful career in music, and by 1988 her debut album, Kylie, was released, reaching #1 in the UK and Australia. Notching up 10 UK Top 3 singles by 1993, she was one of the defining popstars of the early ‘90s. Her follow-ups to the debut album – Enjoy Yourself, Rhythm of Love and Let’s Get To It – all reached the Top 15 in the UK.

With a blossoming relationship with late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence, Kylie was encouraged to be more ambitious with her image and sound. As such, she left her former label, PWL, and released the daring “Confide In Me” in early 1994. Critics praised her re-invention, and the single restored the success she had somewhat lost with her previous album. Impossible Princess was another critical success but failed to make much of an impact on the charts, which led some media outlets to believe that her “15 minutes of fame” were over.
