[Verse 1]
I threw him out like he was trash one night
The dumbest thing I’ve ever done
He was the best thing that I’ll ever find
Yea a waste is a terrible thing to mind

[Chorus]
And I’m going crazy in these four white walls
All I feel is his ghost walking by
I wish I didn’t see how politely I was blind
Yea a waste is a terrible thing to mind
Yea a waste is a terrible thing to mind

[Verse 2]
I keep me warm with the bridges above
That won’t give me warmth alone
There is a few slipping deeper into time
Yea a waste is a terrible thing to mind

[Chorus]
And I’m going crazy in these four white walls
All I feel is his ghost walking by
I wish I didn’t see how politely I was blind
Yea a waste is a terrible thing to mind
A waste is a terrible thing to mind
A waste is a terrible thing to mind

LeAnn Rimes

Margaret LeAnn Rimes Cibrian (August 28, 1982) is a country singer who uses the stage name LeAnn Rimes. Born in Jackson, Mississippi she started performing at age 7 and had become a country star by age 13. Known for her vocals, many say she sounds a lot like Patsy Cline.

Rimes is a two-time Grammy winner and remains active in music. She’s gone through some troubles in the past few years, perhaps the result of such a young start in the business of music.
