[Chorus]
Sing me a song of praise and glory
Help this wandering child to understand
That when I close my eyes in sleep eternal
I'll be clinging to a saving hand

[Verse 1]
I want you to sing to me about the rock of ages
And sing about eternity so sweet
So that when I take my last breath of life
I'll awaken at my savior's feet

[Verse 2]
I want you to tell me about Paul and Matthew
And sing about my dear savior's birth
And tell about his trials and tribulations
While he walked upon his heathen Earth

[Chorus]
Come on and sing me a song of praise and glory
Help this wandering child to understand
That when I close my eyes in sleep eternal
I'll be clinging to a saving hand
I'll be clinging to a saving hand

LeAnn Rimes

Margaret LeAnn Rimes Cibrian (August 28, 1982) is a country singer who uses the stage name LeAnn Rimes. Born in Jackson, Mississippi she started performing at age 7 and had become a country star by age 13. Known for her vocals, many say she sounds a lot like Patsy Cline.

Rimes is a two-time Grammy winner and remains active in music. She’s gone through some troubles in the past few years, perhaps the result of such a young start in the business of music.
