Songwriter: Mac Miller

[Intro: Pete Rock & Mac Miller]
It's yours
Whose world is this?
The world is ours (Easy Mac)
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine—whose world is this?
The world is yours
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine—whose world is this?
The world is yours (Yo, yeah)
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine—whose world is this?

[Verse 1]
Please, things ain't always what they seem to be
'Cause, me, I got dreams to be the greatest MC
Muhammad Ali with punchlines that sting like a bee
But I float like a butterfly [?]
What am I? A coward only if I [?] (Yeah)
[?] to the top of my game
Rippin', and spittin' licks off the top of the brain (Uh)
I spit heat, fireman, why you stoppin' my flames?
Nothin' makes sense, so you can find me shoppin' for change
Comin' from Nas, he told us that the world is ours
[?] can't talk, gotta lock my jaws
I got the Earth in my paws, and the stars in my eyes

[Pre-Chorus: Mac Miller & Nas]
The sky seems lonely, why don't we get high? (Say what?)
The sky seems lonely, why don't we get high? (Say what?)
The sky seems lonely 'cause the world is mine

[Chorus: Pete Rock & Mac Miller]
Whose world is this?
The world is yours (It's yours)
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine—whose world is this?
The world is yours
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine—whose world is this?
The world is yours (It's yours)
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine—whose world is this?
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine—whose world is this?

[Verse 2]
See, in the Steel City, we don't feel pity on you MC [?]
[?] feel pretty chill and heal quickly
And we deal midi's, and anything to get the cheese
We also got the haze if you tryna get skeed
But if you want the weed, needa talk to me
'Cause I be on hot grind like some coffee beans (Yeah)
We hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil, streets is lethal
Fiends with needles, [?] the people, Nas came first, now read the sequel
Should be illegal, but a legendary [?] secondary
More vocabulary than a dictionary (Yeah)
I'm a visionary, in time, the world will be mine
Until then, I fill it with rhymes and leave it behind
Way behind 'til my state of mind is clearer
Lookin' at the cards hangin' on your rear-view mirror
'Cause mankind actin' pure and divine
So I proceed to MC 'til the world is mine

[Chorus: Pete Rock & Mac Miller]
Yeah, it's mine (It's yours)
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine—whose world is this?
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine—whose world is this?
The world is yours
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine—whose world is this?
The world is yours
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine—whose world is this?
It's yours

Mac Miller

Malcolm James McCormick (Jan. 19, 1992 – Sept. 7, 2018), who performed as Mac Miller, was an American rapper and producer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Since releasing his first mixtape at just 15 years old, he became one of the leaders of the new school of young and highly talented “weirdos.”

Mac’s credibility in the rap game increased ten-fold and resulted in a slew of quality releases, including 2012’s Macadelic mixtape, his second studio album Watching Movies With The Sound Off, and his critically-acclaimed 2014 mixtape Faces.

He had multiple alter-egos, most notably his producer alias Larry Fisherman and his sick and twisted pitched-up persona (à la Quasimoto,) Delusional Thomas.
