[Intro]
Yeah, la-da-da-di-da-do-dum
Do-do-do-do-do, do-dum
Yeah, mmm

[Verse 1]
I am over here
Looking at you
You are over there
Watching me too
Both painting pictures of
Of how we'll kiss and ah
So what we gon' do (So what you gon' do, what you gon' do?)

[Pre-Chorus]
Tell me why we're standing here (Tell me, tell me, tell me)
There's nothing for us to fear
You got my mind blown
And baby, I'm ready to go (Say it, say it, say it, say it)

[Chorus]
If it's worth your while
Say somethin', say somethin' (Say somethin', baby)
If it's worth your while
Say somethin', say somethin' (Say it, say it, say it, say it)
If it's worth your while
Say somethin', say somethin' (Do-do-do-do)
If it's worth your while
Say somethin' good to me

[Verse 2]
Hot as you can stand it
Something like volcanic
You and me seems organic
Just like the stars and planets
Yeah, we are
So what you gon' do? (So what you gon' do, what you gon' do?)

[Pre-Chorus]
Tell me why we're standing here (Tell me, tell me, tell me)
The moment's fresh and so sincere
You got my mind blown
And baby, I'm ready to go (Say it, say it, say it, say it, say it)

[Chorus]
If it's worth your while
Say somethin', say somethin' (Say it, say it, say it)
If it's worth your while (Say it, do it)
Say somethin' good to me (Say it, do it, oh)
If it's worth your while
Say somethin', say somethin' (If I'm worth your while)
If it's worth your while
Say it, say it, say it, say it

[Bridge]
Come on and say somethin' good to me
Say somethin' good to me, oh oh
If it's worth your while
If it's worth your while, then say it
(If it's worth your while, say somethin' good to me)
If it's worth your while, do somethin' good to me
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
Yeah, yeah, say somethin' good to me
(Worth your while, worth your while)
(Worth your while, worth your while)
If it's worth your while
(Worth your while, worth your while)
(Worth your while, worth your while)
Come on and say somethin', baby
(Worth your while, worth your while)
(Worth your while, worth your while)
If it's worth your while
(Worth your while, worth your while)
(Worth your while, worth your while)
If it's worth your while
Say somethin' to me, baby, oh
If it's worth your while, oh
Do somethin' to me, baby
(You gotta do somethin' good to me)
Somethin' good to me
(You gotta do) Gotta do (Somethin' good to me)
Somethin' good to me, baby (Say it, say it, say it, say it)

[Chorus]
(Say it, say it)
If it's worth your while (Say it, say it)
Say somethin', say somethin' (Say it, do it)
If it's worth your while (Say it, do it)
Say somethin', say somethin' (Say it, do it, oh)
If it's worth your while
Say somethin', say somethin' (If I'm worth your while)
If it's worth your while
Say it, say it, say it, say it

[Outro]
Come on and say somethin' good to me
Say somethin' good to me, oh oh
If it's worth your while
If it's worth your while
Come on and do somethin'

Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey (born March 27, 1970) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, actress, and philanthropist.

Under the guidance of Columbia Records executive Tommy Mottola, Carey released her self-titled debut studio album Mariah Carey in 1990; it went multi-platinum and spawned four consecutive number one singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Following her marriage to Mottola in 1993 and success with hit records “Emotions” (1991), “Music Box” (1993), and “Merry Christmas” (1994), Carey was established as Columbia’s highest-selling act. Daydream (1995) made music history when its second single “One Sweet Day”, a duet with Boyz II Men, spent a record sixteen weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100, and remains the longest-running number-one song in U.S. chart history, along with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito.” During the recording of the album, Carey began to deviate from her R&B and pop beginnings and slowly traversed into hip hop. This musical change became evident with the release of Butterfly (1997), at which time Carey had separated from Mottola.
