[Intro]
When you wish upon your star
Don't let yourself fall, fall in too hard

[Verse 1]
I fell into you, now I'm on my back
An insect decaying in your little trap
I squirm into you, now I'm in your gut
I fell into you, now I'm in a rut

[Pre-Chorus]
I am the one you want and what you want is so unreal
I am the one you want and what you want is so unreal
I am the one you want and what you want is so unreal
I am the one you want and what you want is so unreal

[Chorus]
When you wish upon your star
Don't let yourself fall, fall in too hard

[Verse 2]
You eat up my heart and all the little parts
Your star is so sharp, it leaves me jagged holes
I make myself sick just to poison you
If I can't have you, then no one will

[Pre-Chorus]
If I see you suffering, at least I know that you can feel

[Chorus]
When you wish upon your star
Don't let yourself fall, fall in too hard

[Bridge]
I am the one you want and what you want is so unreal
I am the one you want and what you want is so unreal
I am the one you want and what you want is so unreal
I am the one you want and what you want is so unreal
I am the one you want and what you want is so unreal
I am the one you want and what you want is so unreal

[Chorus]
When you wish upon your star
Don't let yourself fall, fall in too hard
When you wish upon your star

[Outro]
I am the one you want and what you want is so unreal
I am the one you want and what you want is so unreal
I am the one you want and what you want is so unreal

Marilyn Manson

Brian Hugh Warner who is better known under his stage name of Marilyn Manson is a musician, painter, actor, multimedia artist, and former music journalist. His stage name is a combination of the names of two American icons, actress Marilyn Monroe and multiple murder conspiracy convict Charles Manson.

I picked that (Marilyn Manson) as the fakest stage name of all to say that this is what show business is, fake. Marilyn Monroe wasn’t even her real name, Charles Manson isn’t his real name, and now, I’m taking that to be my real name. But what’s real? You can’t find the truth, you just pick the lie you like the best. As long as you know everything’s a lie, you can’t hurt yourself.
