[Verse 1]
I was too open, I was too quick
To let other people in, took whatever they could get
Now I see a pattern, I'm getting rid of it
Yeah, I know I need a change 'cause I'm tired of feeling drained

[Pre-Chorus]
Put a stop sign up, you're not getting any nearer
Wave goodbye to the suckers in my rear-view mirror
Don't reply to your texts, can I make it any clearer?
Why can't you help yourself?

[Chorus]
No more suckers in my life
All the drama gets them high
I'm just trying to draw the line
No more suckers in my life
They just keep bleeding me dry
'Til there's nothing left inside

[Verse 2]
Every time I meet you, I know what to expect
Never ask me how I am, yeah, you never get the cheque
When you stay over, you eat all of my food
Yeah, you mess up all my towels, but this time, I'm checking out

[Pre-Chorus]
Put a stop sign up, you're not getting any nearer
Wave goodbye to the suckers in my rear-view mirror
Don't reply to your texts, can I make it any clearer?
Why can't you help yourself?

[Chorus]
No more suckers in my life
All the drama gets them high
I'm just trying to draw the line
No more suckers in my life
They just keep bleeding me dry
'Til there's nothing left inside

[Bridge]
You attach like a leech and I'm left with the bruising
Trying to find a fix, but you're always using me
'Til I'm weak, 'til I need a transfusion
Why can't you help yourself?

[Chorus]
No more suckers in my life
All the drama gets them high
I'm just trying to draw the line
No more suckers in my life
They just keep bleeding me dry
I've got nothing left inside

[Outro]
No more suckers, ooh
No more suckers
No more suckers, ooh
No more suckers

Marina Diamandis

Marina Lambrini Diamandis, better known as MARINA (formerly Marina and the Diamonds), is a Welsh singer-songwriter and musician.

Growing up in Wales, England and Greece, Marina became “obsessed with becoming a singer, almost as if it was a disease.” After moving to London, it took four years before she established herself as a singer-songwriter. After several independently-released EPs, she placed second on the BBC Sound of 2010 list. In 2010, her debut album, The Family Jewels, was released to critical acclaim and chart success, eventually being certified Gold in the UK.

Her 2012 sophomore album, Electra Heart, was a concept album in which she embraced the titular persona—a vapid, blonde “straight-up pop star” who arose out of her label’s demands for a more commercial pop sound and Marina’s desire to maintain artistic integrity. It became her most successful album, debuting atop the UK, Scotland and Ireland album charts.
