[Verse 1]
Madness comes and madness goes
An insane place with insane moves
Battles without, for battles within
Where evil lives and evil rules

[Verse 2]
Breaking them up, just breaking them in
Quickest way out, quickest relief wins
Never disclose, never betray
Cease to speak or cease to breathe
And when you kill a man, you're a murderer
Kill many, and you're a conqueror
Kill them all... ooh, oh, you're a God!

[Spoken]
"Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury; have you reached a verdict?"
"Yes, we have, your honour. We find the defendant guilty, on all counts, for crimes against all humanity."
"By virtue of the jury's decision and the power vested in me by the state, I hereby sentence you to be incarcerated with no possibility of parole... for life."
"Life?! What do you mean life?! I ain't got a life!"
"Boy, your soul better belong to Jesus. Mhmm, 'cause your ass belongs to me *laughing*."

[Chorus]
Captive honour, ain't no honour
Captive honour, ain't no honour

[Verse 3]
No time for questions, no time for games
Start kicking ass and taking down the names
A long shit list, a shorter fuse
He is untouchable, and guarantees you'll lose

[Chorus]
Captive honour, ain't no honour
Captive honour, ain't no honour

[Verse 4]
Inside the big house, his nightmare unfolds
Before he got there, his manpussy was sold
Black blanket welcome, this tough guy's now a bitch
Praying for death, it can't be worse than this!

[Chorus]
Captive honour, ain't no honour
Captive honour, ain't no honour

[Instrumental Break]

[Outro]
Captive honour, ain't no honour

Megadeth

After being kicked out of Metallica, Dave Mustaine decided to form a Thrash Metal band that not only rivaled his former band, but played faster, more technical Metal. Along with bassist David ‘Junior’ Ellefson and a revolving door of guitarists and drummers, Mustaine set the world afire as Megadeth became known as the world’s state-of-the-art Speed Metal band throughout the 80s and the early 90s. One of the Big Four of Thrash Metal, Megadeth remains one of Metal’s most popular acts today.

However, Dave Mustaine’s fledgling band got off to a shaky start. Initially unable to find like-minded individuals, it was not until an altercation with his (underage) downstairs neighbours Dave Ellefson and Greg Handevidt, that led to him buying them beer and forming the first incarnation of the band with drummer Dijon Carruthers in 1983.

The band was named after a political pamphlet that referred to a “megadeath” (one million deaths by nuclear explosion):
