[Verse 1]
Lighting my tree and lighting my candles on my own
Singing along to Christmas carols all alone

[Pre-Chorus]
Let the fire keep me warm
'Cause you ain't comin' home
Ever since you left, my broken heart is so cold

[Chorus]
All I want is Christmas Eve with you
But you don't want me
And I should be wrapping gifts for you
Instead, I'm lonely
And I got all my decorations
I sent you an invitation
But I don't think I'll be seeing you
Christmas got me blue, ooh
Christmas got me blue, ooh

[Verse 2]
Waiting for reindeer on the rooftop all night long (Oh)
Hoping that Santa brings me what I really want

[Pre-Chorus]
Whoa, let the fire keep me warm
'Cause you ain't comin' home (Whoa)
Ever since you left, my broken heart is so cold

[Chorus]
Baby, all I want is Christmas Eve with you
But you don't want me
And I should be wrapping gifts for you
Instead, I'm lonely
And I got all my decorations
I sent you an invitation
But I don't think I'll be seeing you
Christmas got me blue, ooh
'Cause Christmas got me blue, ooh

[Bridge]
What do you want from me? I'll give it you
'Cause I can't stand this Christmas without you
Why don't you love me the way that I love you?

[Chorus]
Baby, all I want is Christmas Eve with you
But you don't want me
And I should be wrapping gifts for you
Instead, I'm lonely
'Cause I got all my decorations
I sent you an invitation
But I don't think I'll be seeing you
'Cause Christmas got me blue
Christmas got me blue
‘Cause I been missin' you

Meghan Trainor

Meghan Trainor is a pop singer-songwriter from Nantucket. Before launching her solo career, she wrote songs for the likes of Sia and Sabrina Carpenter. She entered pop stardom with the controversial but danceable body-positivity anthem “All About That Bass,” which led her 2015 debut LP, Title.

In 2016, Meghan released her sophomore effort Thank You, which was preceded by the smash single “NO.” Peaking at #3 on the Hot 100, top 20 track “Me Too” & the reggae-influenced “Better” supported the release of the album.

Staying reasonably quiet in 2017, Trainor dropped the single “I’m A Lady” for the “The The Lost Village.” Trainor underwent vocal surgery during the year and needed time to rest her voice before returning to the limelight.
