[Verse 1]
Damn, I been working real hard on myself, on my health, and my happiness
Hit pause on my life, took time on my mind, been working less
'Cause I lost myself, I forgot myself, and I don't deserve it
Okay...

[Chorus]
Let me give myself a hand, uh-huh
Let me give myself a hand, uh-huh
Tell myself "get up and dance"
So I move my feet, I love all of me, uh-huh
Let me give myself a hand

[Post-Chorus]
I want it, I'ma treat myself (ahhh, I want it)
I want it, I'ma treat myself (ahhh, I want it)
I want it, I'ma treat myself (ahhh, I want it)
Uh-huh, let me give my...
Woo!

[Verse 2]
Ooo, I promised to myself that I'ma treat me right (Amen, hey!)
Ooo, I try my best to never have a sleepless night
I'll fight for me, and honestly I deserve some credit
Okay, babe

[Chorus]
Let me give myself a hand, uh-huh (Woo!)
Let me give myself a hand, uh-huh (C'mon)
Tell myself "get up and dance"
So I move my feet, I love all of me, uh-huh
Let me give myself a hand (Woo!)

[Post-Chorus]
I want it, I'ma treat myself (ahhh, I want it)
I want it, I'ma treat myself (ahhh, I want it)
I want it, I'ma treat myself (I'ma, I'ma treat myself)
Uh-huh, let me give my...

[Bridge]
Say, I'm gon' be good to me, you could be good to you
I'm gon' be good to me, you could be good to you (Hey!)
I'm gon' be good to me, you could be good to you, oh

[Chorus]
Let me give myself a hand, uh-huh
Let me give myself a hand, uh-huh (Hey!)
Tell myself "get up and dance" (Get up)
So I move my feet, I love all of me, uh-huh
Let me give myself a hand (he-ey)

[Post-Chorus]
I want it, I'ma treat myself (ahhh, oh, baby, treat yourself)
I want it, I'ma treat myself (ahhh, woo)
I want it, I'ma treat myself (ahhh, say I'm gon' be good to me, treat myself)
Uh-huh, let me give my... (You could be good to you)

Meghan Trainor

Meghan Trainor is a pop singer-songwriter from Nantucket. Before launching her solo career, she wrote songs for the likes of Sia and Sabrina Carpenter. She entered pop stardom with the controversial but danceable body-positivity anthem “All About That Bass,” which led her 2015 debut LP, Title.

In 2016, Meghan released her sophomore effort Thank You, which was preceded by the smash single “NO.” Peaking at #3 on the Hot 100, top 20 track “Me Too” & the reggae-influenced “Better” supported the release of the album.

Staying reasonably quiet in 2017, Trainor dropped the single “I’m A Lady” for the “The The Lost Village.” Trainor underwent vocal surgery during the year and needed time to rest her voice before returning to the limelight.
