[Verse 1]
Say our farewells tonight
'Cause we can't miss out on life
And leave a kiss so I won't feel alone tonight
Take all my love with you and say you love me too
Please leave a kiss so I won't feel alone tonight

[Chorus]
So long, my friend
Until I ever see you again
I'm asking you to leave a kiss so I won't feel alone tonight

[Verse 2]
Oh-oh, you used to be my world and I was your only girl
So I'll leave a kiss so you won't feel alone tonight

[Chorus]
So long, my friend
Until I ever see you again
I'm asking you to leave a kiss so I won't feel alone tonight

[Bridge]
Maybe you're the wrong guy, maybe it's the wrong time
Maybe I should wait
Maybe you're the right one, baby
But I'm so done begging you to stay
Oh, I don't wanna fall or ever lose it all
What am I to say
To these questions I'm never gonna answer anyways?

[Verse 1]
So say our farewells tonight
'Cause we can't miss out on life
And leave a kiss so I won't feel alone tonight

[Chorus]
So long, my friend
Until I ever see you again
I'm asking you to leave a kiss so I won't feel alone tonight
So long, my friend
Until I ever see you again
I'm asking you to leave a kiss so I won't feel alone tonight

Meghan Trainor

Meghan Trainor is a pop singer-songwriter from Nantucket. Before launching her solo career, she wrote songs for the likes of Sia and Sabrina Carpenter. She entered pop stardom with the controversial but danceable body-positivity anthem “All About That Bass,” which led her 2015 debut LP, Title.

In 2016, Meghan released her sophomore effort Thank You, which was preceded by the smash single “NO.” Peaking at #3 on the Hot 100, top 20 track “Me Too” & the reggae-influenced “Better” supported the release of the album.

Staying reasonably quiet in 2017, Trainor dropped the single “I’m A Lady” for the “The The Lost Village.” Trainor underwent vocal surgery during the year and needed time to rest her voice before returning to the limelight.
